Preseason Prep for we the fans...

So as preseason approaches I find myself ramping back into shape (be it a more rounded shape as the years go on) for this years season to begin. Here are some of my personal things that I do to help prepare me for the season ahead. Let's hear all of yours.
  • Stitching is checked on all jerseys for repair needs
  • Breakables are moved to shelves that are not in reach of the chairs near the TV
  • various home brews are at different stages of the brewing and bottling process to insure that beer is always on hand for viewing
  • All Budweiser and Michelob product are being replaced with Labatt's for daily consumption. (Home Brew for Game days)
  • Considering extra speakers and a buttkicker LFE kit to my home theater specifically for game watching
  • Finally watched my DVR'd recording of the final playoff game yesterday. (Had a bit of a complex about letting last season end so refused to watch final game til now.)

Sad to say, I've mostly been spending more and more time here!

Several of AG's items, plus, like Pete, spending more time on HF.

One important new addition -- hung up the new autographed picture of Mr. Mason for paying off our season tickets. It occupies a place of honor near the big TV (for away games, of course).

Hahah, that's been one of the biggest changes for me. All summer long I didn't care to check the boards often, now I'm back on every day.

Figuring out which games I'd want to go to, both buying in advance & at the last minute.

Nice list. Re: the two I've bolded:

Try not switching from Labatt in the off-season.

This has probably been asked and answered somewhere else, but...
The Lassés have neither cable nor dish. Is it possible for someone to burn/download/tape a copy of this game for free shared distribution to a fellow CBJ fan? Said fan would be more than willing to cover whatever small costs would be incurred in the copying/shipping process. Feel free to PM answers. Thanks.

.

I do not personally have the capabilities but would gladly do it free of charge. Would simply ask for a beer should we ever meet at a game for something like that. (This was meant to be a helpful hint for a reasonable rate for a fellow poster)

While at work I like to listen to game replays on 97.1's website. Great games, games that I attended, etc... I also watch the videos on Skrauts pages.
