Bruins Lines

Can somebody please tell me what lines the B's might be using....including D pairings if possible.

Thanks

With Thornton, probably something like;

Knuble -- Thornton -- Murray
Samsonov -- Nylander -- Bergeron
Axelsson -- Rolston -- Lapointe
Donato -- Green -- Zamuner/Grosek/Doull

O'Donnell - Gonchar
Gill - Boynton
McGillis - Slegr

Now you may see Green slide up to the 2nd line lin place of Bergeron late in the game or period, especially in a tie game or with a lead. He will also take a lot of defensive zone faceoffs and some in the offensive zone for Rolston.

Without Thornton (anyone's guess really, but this is what they used Sunday)

Bergeron -- Green -- Murray
Samsonov -- Nylander -- Knuble
Axelsson -- Rolston -- Lapointe
Donato -- Zamuner -- Grosek

Same Defense Pairings

If I recall from Sunday's game, it was the so-called 2nd line that tore it up.

Yeah, Nylander and Samsonov played very well. I guess when Joe is out there is no clear-cut #1 line, just a few pretty evenly effective ones.

What is impressing me is the third line...

Axelsson-Rolston-Lapointe!!!

Damn good.

On the top 6, Nylander & Knuble are the weak link.

Not true at all. Nylander has been very effective for the B's since they picked him up. He has been considered one of the steals of the trades before the deadline. 12 pts in 15 gp is hardly a weak link.

Whoa! Knuble is less flash but more consistency and Nylander has surpassed everyone's expectations. Don't be fooled by the 1 goal he's scored for us.. he's set up 15 so far that worked.. and given us many, many more plays that make you proud he's a Bruin. Our third line is very strong, thank you.. In any event.. Nylander and Knuble being the weak links is just flat out incorrect, in my opinion. Our entire board would also tell you as much
