I realize that dawg, but don't you think Hemsky and Penner are capable of that? I am not bashing Horc in anyway, I know what he brings to the table, and his outscoring numbers are good. I just think Comrie would be a better center for Hemmer.

Who the **** cares how old he is?!

What matters: he addresses none of the Oilers needs. Unless he is signed for under $1M and is playing on the third line and not stealing what should be Cogs and Gags second line minutes, this is a bad move.

Signing Comrie or signing a checking center is not mutually exclusive.

We can have both, people. Relax.

I don't have a problem with the signing. Hopefully it lights a fire in our other small forwards and gets them off their butts. Otherwise they're outta here.

The Lowe induced cap situation on this team is a reality regardless of how relaxed you are.
Comries signing has just made that situation worse.

You think that's all the time I would need?

Anyhow all jokes aside, how ironic would it be if Comrie wants out midway through the season because Gagner or Cogs is sleeping with Duff?

I was quoting Alex who said he was 30, thanks for the tips though

I'm glad you're not the GM then...

haha, I'm the one being the dumbass? You're the one bringing up stats that are 4 years old and trying to pass them off as current. I was just pointing out the ridiculousness of it.

If you're still asking this question when I've already posted it twice, then I'm afraid any attempts at discussion are a lost cause.

I wish Lowe was still GM he would have told Comrie to pay the team if he wanted to play. Say what you want about the guy he never had a team this imbalanced.

I didn't know we weren't allowed to make trades or anything. Is this a freeze on only the Oilers roster, or everyone?

Good for Mike and good for us. We have no one who could score 30 goals a season and everyone's reacting like Comrie is Sean F***ing Avery. GIVE IT A REST. Until Comrie fails and can't get no more than 40 points, then start booing. Otherwise SHUT THE HELL UP

This is embarrassing that we've gone ahead and signed Comrie and this will hurt Cogliano/Gagner's development, and its an absolute waste of a roster spot and cap space.

This is infuriating to the 10th degree

I for one have season tickets and will BOO Comrie every time he touches the puck!!!
So if he scores more than 20 goals you will still boo him? True fan hey?
