(hopefully Bomber and Allison don't see the ice much, unless York stinks it up)

Vokoun

(these lines may not be correct, but it's a good guess)
I'd be more than happy with those, let's just see what Trotz decides to do

Sully is a winger, mostly because of his size, doesn't make a great first line center.

God no!

Zholtok has not done that great since joining the Preds, let alone done anything to warrant top line time. No, the Sully-Johansson-Walker line has been gelling a bit, and more important the OLE - Erat Legwand Orszagh line has really been a big jump start.

Wasnt he once a pred before?

I like the 2nd line, looks crafty.

I would rather see TooToo play with Hall and Hartnell on the 3rd line and move Zholtok to the 4th.
Johansson has been a Pred since last season when we signed him as a FA.

The 2nd line has been clicking, which is different from Predators 2nd lines in the past.

Tootoo cannot play center, niether can Hall or Hartnell and Tootoo still makes a bunch of rookie mistakes. Zholtok has seen some time with MacKenzie and Tootoo on the 4th line, with Johnson on the 3rd.

On a side note, cute dog in your avatar.

I would prefer to see Zetterberg with Datsyuk and Hull and have Yzerman centering the third line with Whitney and Yzerman. I'm definitely a fan of the second line. I also heard on the radio that Woolley is a week away from returning. They can get by with Dandenault or Rivers after the 6th defenseman for now. I'm so glad that all of the top 12 forwards are healthy going into the playoffs.

??? why IS svatos in if we're healthy? hendrickson WILL be in no doubt, he's great on faceoffs and can provide even more faceoff depth in key situations by putting him on the ice as the 2nd C...

gratton should be with kono or barnaby imo, they seem to have some spunk together when they've been able to play on the same line.. i'd also split up kariya and selanne, maybe kono/gratton/selanne.. then kariya/sakic/barnaby...

i think granato has kept a pointless ***** for awhile trying to get that kariya/selanne mythological elitest chemistry to reappear, while he should be focussing on getting them both going. they need big bodies on their lines to distract the dmen so they don't have to *fight* for the puck, and barnaby/gratton provide that...

sooo many options... and with a hendrickson/niko/hinote fourth line, you can play that one for energy, sub in hahl maybe for hendrickson if you're up in the series for more energy, and also during games sub in these three on different lines.. hendrickson for speed, niko for faceoffs, and hinote for energy..

You forget Gelinas. Sutter's had Gelinas with Lombardi and Clark. And Saprkin, Kobasew and Oliwa over the last couple of weeks. Who knows what happens if Yelle and McAmmond come back..

Albelin was horribe today and would not fit well vs a physical forechecking team like Philly. I would expect Brown and Hale to play over him.

By the looks of things right now, it'll be....

Offense:

Line 1: Tomas Holmstrom - Robert Lang - Brendan Shanahan
Line 2: Brett Hull - Pavel Datsyuk - Henrik Zetterberg
Line 3: Steve Thomas - Steve Yzerman - Ray Whitney
Line 4: Darren McCarty - Kris Draper - Kirk Maltby

Defense:

Pair 1: Nicklas Lidstrom - Mathieu Schneider
Pair 2: Chris Chelios - Derian Hatcher
Pair 3: Jiri Fischer - Jamie Rivers*

Goalie 1A: Manny Legace**
Goalie 1B: Curtis Joseph**

*: I've heard some things about Jason Woolley coming back, if this is in fact true, he will take Jamie Rivers spot.
**: Manny Legace has been nothing short of awesome for the Wings this season while CuJo has been, been great some nights and weak others. Manny has earned a shot to show what he can do, if he falters, then Curtis Joseph will be thrown in net with no hesitation.

well, i'd rather have albelin over brown, brown would likely fumble the puck every shift with an oncoming attacker and give it away, promptly taking a stupid penalty...

hale, ehhh.. i'm not so sure burns would go with two rookies, no matter how great they've been imo

this is what they've been putting out there the last several weeks, and i don't think it's likely to change in the playoffs.

Your flop of a third line is a joke compared to the wings third line of
Whitney-Zetterberg-Yzerman. Yzerman is a demon in the playoffs.

As for PK, there aren't many sets that can match the Draper-Maltby line. Colorado does have 2 wicked first lines though.

It might be Dandenault instead of Rivers. Lewis and Smith like Dandy's speed and with Hatch back in shape (finally!!), we've got some nice grit. *smiles when thinking about that sick hit Hatch put on Nash*

The Datsyuk line is the first line. Oh what the reunited "Two kids and a goat" line could do. Our defensive depth is going to be sick. Dandenault and Woolley as 7th and 8th men. Look out..
