My wife and I are so pissed. We were supposed to go to the Perch festival up on Lake Erie today, but our friends we were going with are ill. We would have come down to the Ice House had we not had plans.
I have a feeling of where this is going. No matter how good of a camp he has, surely the CBJ don't consider having a rookie defenseman in the lineup?!?
Well, he has to start sometime. How would you propose he become not a rookie?
In all seriousness, I'm sure many will speculate on it, but unless he not only continues but starts exceeding these kinds of performances, then maybe he might get a brief glance. We have proof of this sort of thing with Russell, after all; no need to repeat it.
Remember - when you're a hockey fan, it's not "reckless driving", it's "good forechecking".

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!
McConnell's offense controlled the puck a good portion of the game, but Crane's superior D kept them in check. Crane's D also had some great breakout passes leading to breakaways. Moore is a beast. The goal he assisted on was a result of him driving to the net, drawing the D then finding Brassard who found an even more open Dorsett.
Mason played both halves. Gave up 3 goals and 2 shootout goals.
LaCosta played the first half gave up one goal.
Loverock played the 2nd half only gave up one shootout goal.
Mentioned that Jake and Nik working well together but now I wonder... Filatov is totally zoning in on Voracek basically staring at him the entire time he has the puck. I know he wants to be ready for the pass but I wonder about his situational awareness.
