WHAT? NO MITCH FRITZ?

Unacceptable. I am now a fan of the Coyotes.

I wonder if this will be telecast in Canada. I've been itching for hockey all summer, and I'm not doing anything better on Tuesday night.

The game is on NHL Network in Canada, if you have it.

It's the Kraft Hockeyville game, played in Terrace, BC.

Thankfully I have NHL Network so I'll be able to see it. Too bad JT won't be playing in it, but I'll take what I can get.

I just saw this in Katie Strang's Isles files yesterday:

"Those players selected to play in the first game Monday in Terrace, BC were notified earlier in the week so they could prepare accordingly and ramp up their workout schedule as they saw fit. For all of you trying to figure out how to get a live audio stream of that game, let me forewarn you: John Tavares will not be playing in that game Monday, just FYI."

Why isn't he playing? If his groin (or was it a shoulder?) is still bothering him & he has to miss time I'm going to be so disappointed.

Scott Scissons part two, and he hasn't even played a game. Just imagine.

Should've taken Duchene, Islanders brass.

What the ****. I demand that at least one of you change your birthday to make me less angry about this.

Not entirely true, they just have to pay their own way. I feel like Okposo came to camp once, but I may be misremembering. My initial point still stands though.

Not sure about this either Izzo. I think they have to pay their way for the prospect camps, but that they technically are not allowed to take part in the pro team's camp or they'll lose their college eligibility.

Could be wrong.

On another note:
Anyone think Monday's game will be streamed online?

College Players are not allowed. There seasons have already started. No college players on any NHL teams are in camp. If this were the case, we would have had Trivino, Ness and Rakhashani in camp last year.

I believe since school is in session, they cannot take part in pro camps unless they sign with their respective teams, thus making them ineligible for NCAA hockey.

No injury. It's just a numbers game with 54 guys in camp, the coaches will have a plan in place to play certain guys together and Tavares and his group will probably play the second game.
