Ticketmaster can suck it, seriously. I logged in at 10:00 exactly, went to 1 game (Flyers 3/14) and couldn't get 4 tickets in 300. So I went on eBay and bought them for a little less than I would have paid on TM.

But, through a contact, I've got 5 games in Sec. 203 row C (Opening night, a Devils game, and a Flyers game just to name a few) for face value, which makes me happy.

Ticketmaster sucks.

Wait, is that what you paid? 310 for 2 seats in 335? So TM is roughly 155 a seat for center ice? (assuming that's all the fees and junk) wow. That is expensive. But you'll have a great time!

I somehow got 3 seats for the Pens opener in Pittsburgh. It'll suck having to watch that banner go up though.

That's pretty pricey. Should be a fun night though. I'm selling my opening night pair in 329 row B for less than that if anyone is still looking.

Anyone making the trip to Montreal for either game? Third year in a row I'll be attending, always a great time. I was able to get 4 for both games.

I'm in the virtual "waiting room" right now. Haven't been in a few years but I'm hoping to be able to snag 4 for the game in January. Nothing quite like a game in Montreal, I must say.

$240 for a pair in 333 on Xchange, not too terrible for opening night....overslept 10am thing, though would have probably gotten crap anyhow.

Well, no tix for me. I DID however get to leave my girlfriend in NC at 10:00 for a 12 drive to FL for 5 weeks of recruiting school. Gotta love the navy...

Three tickets in 333 for the home game against LA on October 14. I CANNOT WAIT. My brother was suppose to buy a set of three for another game, but he overslept

Anyway, looking forward to seeing not only the Rangers.. but another one of my favorite hockey teams in LA. They're talented, exciting, and fast.. and the battles between Staal and Brown will be epic!

question. why are you folks buying from ticketmaster and paying the high ticketmaster fees when some games are sold on this site and at face value. Do you guys not trust it here?

Most season ticket holders are either going to the home opener and other marquee matchups or selling them above face to recoup some funds. I doubt too many people were flocking to ticketbastard to score Rangers/Blue Jackets tickets this morning.

It's a guaranteed shot at getting the games you want, at the price point you want. Face value + fees isn't all much different than face value alone, and if you buy through TM you know you're going to get the game you want (if you're lucky enough to get the tickets).

Besides, how do we know a lot of the posters on here (no offense guys) aren't going to just throw their tickets on Ebay, StubHub, etc.?
