Playoff lineup

What do you guys think about the lineup that CJ will use in playoffs. In my opinion, it will look like this:

Zednik - Koivu - Kovalev
Dagenais - Ribeiro - Ryder
Bulis - Perreault - Sundstrom
Begin - Dowd - Langdon

Perrault won't be playing, and if he does it will be on the 1st or 4th lines, definately not the 3rd. I'm willing to bet Juneau starts ahead of him.

I see this lineup:

Zednik-Koivu-Kovalev
Dagenais-Ribeiro-Ryder
Bulis-Dowd-Ward
Langdon-Perreault-Begin

Perreault should play for faceoffs.

Here we go again

I think there is more drama concerning the line-up's than the actual series. :lol

*These are the lines I would use, not necessarily the lines I think CJ is going to use*

FORWARDS

Jan Bulis - Saku Koivu - Richard Zednik
Pierre Dagenais - Mike Ribeiro - Michael Ryder
Niklas Sundstrom - Jim Dowd - Alex Kovalev
Darren Langdon - Steve Begin - Jason Ward

DEFENSEMEN

Sheldon Souray - Stephane Quintal
Andreï Markov - Craig Rivet
Patrice Brisebois - Francis Bouillon

Note: I'd rather have Komo than having Quintal... but I know it ain't going to happen. Not that I don't like Quintal, but I think he is getting slower and slower game after game and he's getting pretty easy for the other team's forwards to beat in one-on-one situations. Komisarek also makes errors, obviously, but he brings more energy than Quintal, that's for sure... and he is more effective in one-on-one battles, IMO.

I think Quintal will do well, maybe his last series and lots of experience.

First line : Zednik & Koivu & Kovalev = Lots of speed, we CAN'T put Kovalev on a 3rd line. It's ruining too much offensive talent.

Second line : Dagenais & Ribeiro & Ryder = Young line, they are doing great together. Hopefully, Dagenais can keep playing like the 2 last games.

Third line : Bulis & Begin & Ward = Damn. Strong, fast and gritty third line. I feel sorry for the opposite line

Fourth line : Langdon & Dowd & Sundstrom = Langdon must be in for the playoffs. Dowd and Sundstrom are really good in their own end, and can score too.

CJ has a tough decision to make. I hope he stops wasting Kovalevs talent by placing him on the 3rd line, but if he puts him on the 1st line either Kovy or Zednik have to play on their off-wing. And we want Zed to play RW as he dominated the Bruins 2 year ago, don't we?

Sundström - Juneau - Langdon - A puck carrying fourth line, lets the time pass while the first and second line gets some rest.

IF Dagenais was to play he'd have to be with Ribeiro and Ryder.
I really like this line, but Zednik seems to perform much better with Saku for some unknown reason or reasons. However this is the playoffs, maybe he will perform regardless of where he plays. Lets hope so anyways!

Perreault is gonna play quite often just for the fact that he can win the key faceoffs.

Mark my words.

I like these lines alot too, however i wouldn't mind putting kovalev with Ryder and Ribs and then putting Yannic back with Koivu and Zeds.... the third and fourth line are great aswell...

Lets go boys....

Richard Zednik-Saku Koivu-Alex Kovalev
Pierre Dagenais-Mike Ribeiro-Michael Ryder
Jan Bulis-Jim Dowd-Nicklas Sundstrom
Darren Langdon-Steve Bégin-Jason Ward

Sheldon Souray-Stéphane Quintal
Andrei Markov-Patrice Brisebois
Francis Bouillon-Craig Rivet

CJ can use both line 3 and 4 as his checking lines, just needs to play Langdon whenever the need arises, but you have to have him dressed, cause the B's will use intimidation, Bulis, Sundstrom, Dowd can all be double shifted...

I hate to break up Markov-Rivet, but there's no way we can have both Brisebois and Bouillon on together...that's a recipe for disaster in our own zone...I just wished Komisarek would of developped a bit more this season, he would of helped a great deal in this series...who knows, he might still

Perrault-Koivu-Zednik
Dags-Riberio-Ryder
Begin-Jeunau-Sundstrom
Langdon-Dowd-Kovalev

And if Kovelev doesn't pick up his game, just have Langdon beat the crap out of him at the end of the game.

Where's Bulis? He'll be on the 1st line, Perrault will be in the press box.

Hey, he hasn't shown that he deserves to play anywhere else. If he doesn't play well in the first game, I honestly think he is in danger of Julien benching him. Maybe it would do him good, because the way he's playing now, he looks like he doesn't care.
