Note: I'd rather have Komo than having Quintal... but I know it ain't going to happen. Not that I don't like Quintal, but I think he is getting slower and slower game after game and he's getting pretty easy for the other team's forwards to beat in one-on-one situations. Komisarek also makes errors, obviously, but he brings more energy than Quintal, that's for sure... and he is more effective in one-on-one battles, IMO.
CJ has a tough decision to make. I hope he stops wasting Kovalevs talent by placing him on the 3rd line, but if he puts him on the 1st line either Kovy or Zednik have to play on their off-wing. And we want Zed to play RW as he dominated the Bruins 2 year ago, don't we?
Bulis - Koivu - Kovalev - A good offensive line, Zednik bumped down to make for better balance
Zednik - Ribeiro - Ryder - Really good second line that can score
Dowd - Bégin - Ward - Third line that can surprise... Dowd will step up big time...
Sundström - Juneau - Langdon - A puck carrying fourth line, lets the time pass while the first and second line gets some rest.
IF Dagenais was to play he'd have to be with Ribeiro and Ryder.
I really like this line, but Zednik seems to perform much better with Saku for some unknown reason or reasons. However this is the playoffs, maybe he will perform regardless of where he plays. Lets hope so anyways!
Richard Zednik-Saku Koivu-Alex Kovalev
Pierre Dagenais-Mike Ribeiro-Michael Ryder
Jan Bulis-Jim Dowd-Nicklas Sundstrom
Darren Langdon-Steve Bégin-Jason Ward
Sheldon Souray-Stéphane Quintal
Andrei Markov-Patrice Brisebois
Francis Bouillon-Craig Rivet
CJ can use both line 3 and 4 as his checking lines, just needs to play Langdon whenever the need arises, but you have to have him dressed, cause the B's will use intimidation, Bulis, Sundstrom, Dowd can all be double shifted...
I hate to break up Markov-Rivet, but there's no way we can have both Brisebois and Bouillon on together...that's a recipe for disaster in our own zone...I just wished Komisarek would of developped a bit more this season, he would of helped a great deal in this series...who knows, he might still
Are you serious??, because if you are well then-----
Hey, he hasn't shown that he deserves to play anywhere else. If he doesn't play well in the first game, I honestly think he is in danger of Julien benching him. Maybe it would do him good, because the way he's playing now, he looks like he doesn't care.
