Pronger is a terrible leader.

Maybe he's not the best team guy, but he seems to get it done playoffs and leads on the ice. He'd rub off on guys in SJ, except for Blake that guy is un-rally-able he just don't give a F.

He could lead the league in points playing with Joe Thornton. Ovechkin is clearly the top pick in any league but after that I wouldn't mind having Heatley on my team.

3-9 would be considered optimistic in this case.

The Ducks are a good team. They aren't THAT good.

If that's true, by hockey standards, I should already be buried 6 ft under.

That isn't too far off given the average age of our team.

While Heatley is nice to have and certainly he'll help get them goals, the Sharks will be easier to play against. Both Cheechoo and Michalek were strong on the forecheck and Michalek is a very underrated defensive player. I do know that Ottawa now fills two spots in their lineup and who knows, if you put Alfie or Spezza with Cheechoo, he might crack 30 again.

Also, does anyone really think that Marleau is going to be there the whole year??? Stripped of the captaincy, rumors of getting dealt, and an impending UFA. He's as good as gone.

The Sens had Heatley with Spezza and Alfredsson for a number of seasons. How many Stanley Cups did they win? The Sharks may prosper in the goals for column but they will still continue to choke in the playoffs. How many warriors do they have in their lineup? I like Clowe and Pavelski and Douglas Murray, but that roster is made up of underachievers. And of course, when Heatley struggles to score, he'll look to point the finger at the coaching staff for putting him in a position to fail.

they have a scary top 6 but they lack depth. if a couple injuries occur, they could be screwed.

Atleast we'll be in the playoffs.
