Oh, don't even get me started. I could only follow the score on the ticker during the Eagles game. I saw that the Bengals went up 7-6 with like, 30 seconds left.. I was so excited. Then, whatever game was on ended and they put the end of the Bengals game on...and I got to see..............THAT. GOD DAMN I tell ya... I love that team, but I hate that team. I'm wearing my Bengals jersey in a bar full of Eagles fans...and they all just look at me shakin' their heads. One guy even said.."Sorry..I got nuthin'"...it was just too pitiful to even make fun of. RRRRRRRRRR

That Tavares piece is a thing of beauty. I wish I had that amount of creativity. Thanks Opus

If it's signed, I'd say don't wear it. I'm sure it's safe to wear though. You can always get another helmet, but good luck getting another signed helmet.

I'd save it then. I wouldn't wear it.

It's probably a SICK helmet tho. Parent right? So it says 77 and has the Flyers logos on it. Sweet.

Reebok or Mission?

OK drinking buddies, got a question for you:
Scotch gets better with age, but does whisky? I was given a bottle of Seagram's with a 1983 tax tape over the top. It's 6-year-old whisky that's now 32. I'm both scared and curious.

I know nothing about alcohol but I found this

http://www.morrisonbowmore.co.uk/faq.aspx#7

it seems the answer no it doesn't age over time once bottled securely- but drink appropriately anyways!

If there's a chance it's any good, I'll have to save it for a special occasion.

I know it happened yesterday and hardly anyone cares but I thought I would mention this

New Hampshire 23 Ball State 16.

UNH is a FCS school playing in the CAA

for the 5th year in a row New Hampshire beats a FBS school.

This is the same Ball State team that started last season 12-0 in the MAC.

also I watched alot of football today and LMFAO@ the Bengals today.

same old Bungholes.

yeah I saw that, it's pretty sweet the deals they have. I saw they were selling skates but I think they were only giving you one?. I was tempted to pick Sbisa's helmet to go along with my jersey. haha

Some whiskey gets better with age but stops at a certain age. High end scotch will age a long time but I'm not sure with Seagrams. I would enjoy it after mildly good occasion. Like the opening of the Flyers season.

Whisky doesn't age in the bottle. In only matures in the cask. However, once bottled, like virtually all liquor, it has a shelf-life that lasts an extraordinarily long time when stored properly.

That being said, since the demand for single malt Scotch has risen, a lot of whisky that would normally be destined for use in a blend is now bottled as single malt. So, therefore, an "old" bottle that matured for the same amount of time as a new bottle will often taste better. And, of course, there is a slight year to year taste difference amongst whisky just as there is in wine.
