My fantasy team got destroyed by Adrian Peterson.

Should have seen that one coming.

That my opponent got 49 points from Brees pretty much doomed me from the start.

However, Roddy White gave me just 4.2 points, Michael Turner and Clinton Portis gave me a combined 13.7, and so far I've gotten a whopping 4.2 points from Aaron Rodgers.

Unless Antonio Gates sets all sorts of records and gets me like 35 points tomorrow night, I'm looking at a slaughter at the hands of my fat **** coworker.

I was AT the Jets game in Houston today...

Finally... being in crappy Houston has come through with something good... I got to see Sanchez as a pro before all of YOU! hahah.

Wow. That kid is damn good. People were filing out of that stadium late in the third... but Houston fans are a joke anyways.

Really hope Hicks is okay and wont miss too much time. And I also hope someone steps up and starts to mold themselves into something like a #1 receiver for the Giants. Smith cant do it all.

I'm happy with the way the Giants played. Obviously you'd like to see better results inside the red zone (this has just been a problem for so long for the Giants), but they flat-out crushed the Skins. The score was not indicative of how much the Giants smacked them around - it could have easily been a 20+ point win.

The only negative were the injuries to Ware and Nicks - especially Nicks. When they put the boot on and took him off on the cart I got really worried, but thankfully it appears he'll only miss a couple of games. Steve Smith stepped up and I think he's going to be the eventual go-to receiver and Manningham had a great first half.

And what can you say about the defense? To see Osi back and getting that touchdown was an absolute thing of beauty, and Tuck is right back where he left off last week. Good win, now lets spoil the opener for Dallas.

Also, while I'm not a Jets fan (although I have nothing against them either), I'm really rooting for Sanchez. Just seems like a stand-up guy and he's got incredible talent. Great game for him and I hope he keeps it up. Good day overall for New York.

I don't see Stevie Smith as a go-to receiver at all. Maybe a go-to guy on short yardage and 3rd downs. He's a possession receiver. Nothing more, nothing less. But one of (if not the) best in the game.

Thing is, I think Nicks is our go-to guy at the end of the year. He's going to be huge for this team.

His strength is definitely a possession receiver, and I think Nicks will eventually be the go-to guy as well as long as he's healthy, but in the mean time I think Eli is going to rely on Smith a lot like he did yesterday, moreso than any other receivers (although I expect Boss to play a big role as well).

Yeah, Nicks is the man, but until he gets back i'd use Manningham as the primary. Boss should be getting more looks next few games too.

Sanchez looked great, and the Jets defense looked pretty damn good too.

Boss absolutely has to get looks. Especially in the green zone. I mean, come on. The guy is 6'7" and has amazing hands. Let's give him the damn ball and DARE the other team to stop it.

And Barden has to get some looks on the fade as well.

Well Smith hasn't shown that he can be a deep threat at all. I think they should have him stick to what he is best at, which is catches at around 7-10 yards.

With Nicks he's going to be out a few weeks and that will put him behind again. So in the meantime maybe Hixon or Manningham will step up.

On a side note, was Barden ever even on the field yesterday?

The biggest test for Sanchez is going to be the Giants Stadium winds in November/December.

Yeah definitely, but besides playing in NE & Indy, the 2nd half schedules not that bad. Either way, good to be a Jets fan and have some confidence in a QB for a change

I think it's clear the Giants' biggest struggles this year is going to be in the Green Zone.

Its not even the Patriots. The Bills are the most pathetic excuse for a sports team I have ever seen. Their coach is pathetic. They are an embarrassment. It would be funny but its the Pats who got the miracle so its terrible.

edit: Its not a miracle. Its a Bills implosion.

What a STUPID BONEHEADED play by the Bills return man. All he had to do was kneel in the end zone and they would have increased their chances of winning by like 50%.

And then of course they get the turnover.

Did you notice the spots they were giving the Pats on that first 2 minute drill? They gave them a first down when they were like 3 yards short. Ddint matter anyway, they always find a way to win it seems. Teams like that really piss me off im with you there.

My favorite part is that the moron fought for 2 yards which caused the fumble. Those yards are irrelevant. They were gonna run the ball no matter what, except for maybe 3rd down to end the game. What a moron.

Go Giants!!!!

I also think the Jets actually have a shot against the Pats. I wasn't impressed Monday.
