Can anyone confirm or deny if CI is showing preseason? I didn't bother ordering it yet as they didn't show any last year.

I really didn't get into hockey until last year, What can I expect from the preseason games? is it anything like preseason in football, or is it different?

Players fighting for spots, thus less veterans being dressed and more prospects.

ah ok so if I were to relate it to football preseason it would be like the last game? where if the starters play at all, it's not for long. The rest is to see what kind of talent they have?

i know here in the Syracuse area of NY, the game is showing up on MSG HD, and NHL Network. Dont know if its different for others. The islanders game was on the same two channels here last night.

Is there anywhere to get a boxscore? NHL.com doesn't seem to have it for preseason games

The final roster becomes evident as we approach the last 2 pre-season games. The coach/management makes cuts as the pre-season advances. They mostly dress prospects to see whose ready to make the jump to the big league.

I'm not sure with how football works. The only sport I really watch is Hockey.
