Excellent, lucky you got Weiss

drop Lupul for one of Frolik, Horton, Corvo or Pitkanen, or take a chance on one of the rookie d-men

I actually picked up Weiss in FA's . Dropped Frolik. But now I'm considering picking Frolik back up.

I definitely want to drop Lupul. Not a huge fan.

Is it a keeper league to start?

I personally like Filatov, Bogosian, Wheeler and Hiller.. Honourable mention to Giguere, LeClaire, Frolik and Mueller.. The first 4 will be great this year keeper league or not tho IMO.

If I were you I drop Lupul, Guerin, Blake, Michalek.

Pick up Stastny if he is available. Frolik,Filatov,Wheeler. Your team would be so set with those guys.

Grabovski will put up solid numbers and most importantly give you PIM.

Also might want to take a chance with Ponikarovsky.

Drop Turco and add Hiller or Quick. I would go Hiller.

Ok, lets get some unity here people!!

So far I am on board with

- Dropping Blake, Lupul, Guerin,

I'm on the fence with

- Dropping Turco, Michalek

Stastny was JUST picked up, I totally missed out on that steal.

If I drop these players it leaves me with 3-4 Opens Spots

Morrow
Frolik
Wheeler
Corvo

How's that??

I would drop Vokoun,Jason Blake,Bill Guerin,Lupul and get Hiller,Frolik,Filatov and Bogosian

Need to mention to you that; O'Sulliven should get 1st line minute and get arround 60+pts,Berglund is a stud so take him,Leclair should bounce back for sure.

So good luck with everything.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but i didn't want to make another thread on the same topic. I just had my fantasy draft and this is who i drafted any feedback would be great.

-Pavel Datsyuk C
-Marc Savard C

-Michael Cammalleri LW
-Milan Lucic LW
-Kris Versteeg LW

-Devin Setoguchi RW
-Alex Kovalev RW
-Bryan Little RW
-Jason Williams RW

-Mike Green D
-Denis Grebeshkov D
-Brent Burns D
-Victor Hedman D
-Lubomir Visnovsky D

-Jose Theodore G
-Pascal Leclaire G
-Jonas Gustavsson G
-Vesa Toskala G

I think my goalies are weak, acutally more of a gamble.

Can anyone convince me as to why dropping Turco is a good idea?

The way I see it is

Hiller wont get 40+ starts with G.S as the backup.

Turco will, and he's behind a darkhorse dallas team who could make playoffs.

Is Vokoun a good pick to keep?

EDIT:

Updated:
Dropped
Blake
Lupul
Guerin

Added

Morrow
Frolik
Bogosian

Good?

Is Stastny available? If so pick him up over Frolik or Bogosian. I still prefer Wheeler. He is gonna be on the first line with Savard as soon as Kessel moves. Points will skyrocket.

Stastny was grabbed in FA this morning. I shoulda been on it but i totally forgot about the draft.

I have Bogosian simply for Depth on D when injuries occur. But Boyle/Phaneuf/Bouw/Ehrhoff arent often injured. Would you drop Frolik or Bogo for Wheeler?

D is not your best bet. I dont have any D subs. If you want a D take Erik Johnson if he is available and drop Bogosian. I think Bogo has another year before he really starts putting up points, especially since Kubina joined the team. The question is would I drop Frolik for Wheeler. Honestly it is your call. Both put up the EXACT same stats regarding G, A, and PTS. However, Wheeler led the league in +/- AND he had more PIM than Frolik. I think Wheeler will be on the first line with Savard so he will have better offensive stats than Frolik. Its up to you, but I favor Wheeler in this situation.

Thanks man

I forgot about E Johnson, Added him, I'll decide on Wheeler/Frolik before the season starts. See how preseason goes.

EDIT: I just remembered about Michalek. What do you think? Michalek pots more points then Wheeler?

hi say loss Vokoun and get Hiller. And Bogo is a great offensive D and you ll regret it if you loss him, so keep him. And by the way Try to get wheeler for your +\-.

And keep Michalek for sure.

I'm also partial to Rene bourque, he should be getting top line and PP time with Iginla. Your team looks pretty good otherwise. Keep Turco. I'm an Anaheim fan, and am not really sold on Hiller, even after the playoffs. I think JS is coming back hard this season, and might take his job back.

Thanks for all the tips guys.

Newer additions for me

Added Blake Wheeler, Dropped Frolik

My "Uncertains" remain

Tanguay
Michalek
Wheeler
E. Johnson
Ehrhoff

In FA remains

Sam Gagner (new addition, what you guys think??)
Frolik
Bourque
Bogosian
Corvo
Pitkanen
Hiller
Giguere
Quick

Degenerate: I can see Bourque having a good year, but do you really see him putting up more numbers then say Michalek or Tanguay? I'd like to have him for his PIMS, but with hits not counting, he's not a HUGE upgrade.

Keeper league would be a much better fit for me I think. One and off with a money prize is throwing me for a loop here.

Don t drop Turco but do indeed drop Vokoun and get Hiller.

By the way my money is on Giguere to start the year cause Anheim will try to trade Guigere and for that to happen he need to showcase is star power and be able to win and then trade him to a weeker team like Colorado. But Hiller future looks to be on the right path to become the starter for years to come.

I concur.

Vokoun > Turco

Turco just looked so bad last year that I just don't see him fully recovering.
