Just like he killed the talent of Marian Hossa, Martin Havlat and Olli Jokinen, all of whom grew from being average to being stars under his coaching? He also coached some "Alfredsson" dude for most of his career, I heard he's develloped into a pretty good all around player nonetheless!

What about that Yashin fellow... you know, that guy for Ottawa who did really well and then sucked when he went to the Islanders.

Redden, he seemed to do well with Martin. Chara got noticed not because of his size, but the fact that he had skill to go along with it.

Jacques Martin knows what he's doing. As far as claiming he would hinder Akosts development that is ludicrous. He's known for the opposite. Besides, it's up to the player to perform. The only knock I have on him is his lack of playoff success.

Yup, those are also good examples. I'm confident he'll help our new players get better and make our veterans look better.

i think it's just the fact that his face is often expressionless and he looks stoned, that gives the impression that he is nonchalant about everything. i just think that's how he looks, and i'm sure he's putting forth a valiant effort!

As fans, I think we will always have issues with Kostitsyn's enigmatic ways. He'll always come across as somewhat shy, indifferent and lackadaisical.
