A few members of that US team trashed a hotel room after losing.

Neil looked like he was about to cry after that hit.

Caps traded captain Chris Clark and Milan Jurcina to Columbus for Jason Chimera making room for some cap space. Well, I didn't expect them to trade their captain after being so successful so far this season. It seems he has been pretty committed to the team on and off the ice. Could maybe hurt them in the playoffs.

I think it's funny that Matt Carle was responsible for allowing Recchi to score Boston's first goal in the Winter Classic.

I heard TB needs a true #1 goalie....maybe I should go post an offer on the Habs board for Halak.

Is Thrashers GM Don Waddell talking to teams about trading Kovalchuk? I'll have a story up soon on www.tsn.ca

FYI. Some teams say introductory discussions are underway. Waddell refutes that. More on TSN.ca

I think I'd actually prefer them to keep Kovalchuck, especially if he takes up a large portion of their cap space up for years to come.

Worth noting as well, top 50 prospect Garnet Exelby has demanded a trade out of Toronto. Because apparently your trade value skyrockets when you cant crack the Maple Leafs lineup.

He's a force at the point, especially in the PP. He's got a cannon of a shot. Defensively he's a liability that's why he's now playing wing at the 4th line.

Exelby
It should be interesting to see if Exelby does get traded and whether his career will take off when playing for an NHL team other than the Maple Leafs.

Well, you can never underestimate the value and upside of top 50 prospects. Unless their name is Exelby.

Glad to see he is staying around, ever since the obvious injury in SJ I have tried to follow his progress and play
