Nobody unless he gives us something of need like a mobile defenseman.

... wait was I supposed to say this was a three-way trade potential involving Montreal and Vinny Lecavalier?

I mentioned Garon in the hypothetical goalie thread.

Columbus is a good team to potentially poach from. No one really pays them any attention, and they have a quietly effective roster. No big names either, outside of Rick Nash (and even then)

I do love saying Umberger though.

I'd love Umberger, unfortunately he doesn't fit for us. Jackets are tied for top of the West, don't know if they wanna shake it up right now.

...... wait what? Jackets are tied for the #1 in the West? Anybody else's feet cold?

I didn't even realize it until the game ended and I went to ESPN and checked out the standings. My brother was like, "WHAT?! You guys are in first?!" and I said, "Yes, we are. Now don't let the Kings get a point against your Bolts tonight so we keep that high status going!"

Not the NHL, but the PIM leader in the the WHL right now is Wes Vannieuwenhuizen. 78 PIM in 20 games.

That's only like 4.875 minutes for each letter.

You impress me every day with your witty posts. Welcome to the big three: Patrick, Tyler, and [I need your real name]. Bryan has been demoted to second line duty.

Wow, I will follow him. I love the players who drop the gloves, hope he's one of those and not only get misconducts...

Players who only get misconducts are so one-dimensional.

Interestingly, Wes Vannieuwenhuizen's Oct 30th fight was against Edmonton's Adrian Van de Mosselaer.

When I watch the video, all I see are letters.

Hahahaha... Really large last names on both sides, the fight was a joke!

The All-Star format has changed so the captains pick who they want.

Imagine if Marty was one of the Capts. That team would be AWESOME.

Wow @ Kovalchuk's shootout attempt tonight. I honestly kind of feel bad for the guy. Just nothing can go right.

I don't know what's more interesting: Columbus' 8-1 win, or its combined 92 PIM with St. Louis.

Isles fire Scott Gordon. Almost too bad we don't really have an opening somewhere because I'd love to have him. Also makes Wednesday's game a little better for us.

It makes it worse, they will be fired up and trying to impress Capuano now. Just ask the NY Giants. I'd love to bring Gordon on though, he was only fired because you can't fire the owner. What do you expect when your goaltender is damaged goods, you lost your top defenseman and 2nd best forward while your highest paid player is in the KHL.

But at the end of the day they've been playing terrible, a new bench boss doesn't change that much that fast. They can come out with energy, which is good for them. I'd be worried if they didn't come out with a bit of an edge.

I am starting a petition. Mike Smith should be an automatic inclusion into this All Star game.

I noticed that Mark Streit's name has been removed at some point between the nominees being named, and right now.

I don't really care that much about the All Star voting process. I am more interested to see the captain selection of the teams haha.
