Sigalet seems hearty...Modin is playing hurt? Sounds like there's a bit of heart

That's crass; it's rare for a period to be cut short for an injury, I hope Chimera is ok.

Not the way we wanted, but clears up a little of the logjam at forward.

I know it's just the 2nd game of the preseason, but good God we need to fire the PP coach!

Ditto. It doesn't seem like he's been told our analysts are allowed to drink on the job yet.

Glad you guys like him. He was a great play by play for the Crunch.
He gets better with a couple beers in him.

Well... it's preseason so I'll do my best to not get mad over this, but it's still getting shutout.

Hey, front office guys! Stop scheduling Minny for preseason games!

Seriously, hope Chimmer is ok. Sounds like he will be alright.

What is with Modin? He is cursed.

I hope he is ok physically but in the interest of the Blue Jackets, Howson should have bought this guy out. One of the few mistakes by a smart yet conservative General Manager. He will agree with me come April 2010.

I was a staunch defender of Modin. That was when I pointed to the fact that there was "no history" of injuries.

A season or two later, that is no longer the case. It is now impossible to defend Freddy in this aspect.

Somehow I knew this was coming...

At the time the statement was made (that he had no history of injuries), it was correct. That is obviously no longer the case. The debate went on for so long because folks decided early on that this was suddenly the start of an injury epidemic - which had very little basis to back it other than "he's over 30" and apparent bitterness with his contract.

It is entirely possible to turn out right for the wrong reasons, y'know.
