noticed lisins speed on that 2 on 1. 3 strides and he was clear. his speed is a weapon. and the pass was perfect.

imagine a line of lisin arty and gaborik.

I never said I didn't like him, I said he has been solid, but he is taking some bad penalties that completely killed our 5 min major.

Pretty much that means Lisin will take Gaborik's spot lol jk.

That 2nd penalty was a joke. The first one was a little misleading considering Semenov's elbow was practically at the guys head to begin with because he's so tall.

Brashear should have beat down Lucic for going after Artem and Mike.

well, instigator and all, and Lucic won't fight Brashear. Brashear should just go after Savard

edit: though I don't think Lucic did anything wrong with the Anisimov hit

I agree. He's not bad. I don't condone elbows to the head, but I do like his snarl.

Brashear was on the bench and Lucic got a game misconduct. Hard to beat a guy down if he's not on the ice with you.

Gotta say totally impressed with the kids. I haven't seen a defensmen move like Gilroy did on that 4th goal since Leetch. Watching MDZ on the pp has been a thing of beauty. Even Sangs has easily played better than most of the veterans. All three deserve to make the team -- the really question is who gets sent down. Its going to be a tough decision.

Going on, what else can be said about AA that hasn't already been written. Didn't expect the skill level that he has shown even though Squishy and company kept telling us how good he was. This kid's got some sick skill and will be a great Ranger for years to come.

Finally to all of you who have been slamming Sather for years about that being able to draft. Guess maybe he's done a little better than you've been giving him credit for. Of course he still does have to answer for Redden which given the talent we've got on the back end it shouldn't be in a Rangers uniform come Oct. 2. Oh well, we need something to bash Sather for!!!

The call was for interference. Not elbowing. Bad call anyway.
