Stretcher wasn't needed, Sestito came off the ice with help from teammates. I guess he hit his head on the ice after the fight? Hope he's alright, I'm getting tired of this ****.

I've missed most of the game since I'm listening to the OU football game, but did Tootoo beat Sestito that bad?

Tootoo got him with a couple of good rights (IIRC) and then switched hands, and it was pretty much all Tootoo after that. Sestito has been taken to a local hospital and is being reported as coherent.

1-0 Jackets! Sounded like a pretty nice shift there. I think it was Murray who scored

Word was Sestito hit his head on the ice with no helmet as the fight ended.

Vermette scores. 2-0 Jackets.

Sounds like Rinne messed up and now Ellis is coming into the game.

I hate Nashville. They score, its now 2-1.

The ****** Tootoo gets the assist, Ryan Jones with the score.

Lacosta is in net. Should be interesting to see if he bounces back from Pittsburgh.

Oof, not good, we might need about 4 more goals with him in net.

I'm not liking all these injuries piling up. Modin was bound to happen, just a matter of when, Klesla is probably next.

This team more than any other we've had is capable of filling injury hole from within.

Injury = Opportunity

Considering the amount of pros still without contracts... we'll be fine.

I wonder how Lindsay Kramer and the Syracuse Crunch fans are going to react if we keep Picard and Blunden and sit one or both of them on the bench/pressbox all season.

I know we don't have the full crew together yet, but I'm already starting to worry about the PP this year...

That's the intriguing thing. We had a glut of wingers coming into the pre-season. Modin's down for a while, Chimmer's a question mark, but with guys like Boll, Dorsett, Blunden, Picard, Filatov & Torres, some of whom we were still looking for places for in the starting 12, this could open up spots for them. Raffi could take care of one of the spots on the checking line with Pahlsson.

And yeah, there are a number of UFA guys we could look at, too.

I think we might take a good look at

Huselius - Brassard - Nash
Umberger - Vermette - Filatov
Torres - Pahlsson - Voracek
Dorsett - Murray - Boll/Picard

Wonder what the defensive pairing was on that one? Russell is -2, not sure if Plekhanov was out there with him on the 2nd goal
