I'm not too worried about it. It's the third pre-season game and we've only made one wave of cuts. When camp progresses and we make more cuts, and our roster looks more like it will on opening night, then I'd be a little more worried.

Players are probably still shaking a little bit of rust off, and I'd rather have our preseason be riddled with mistakes and players saying to themselves, "Yeah, I shouldn't do that anymore" and then learn from them so they don't make the same mistakes during the regular season.

Picard sounds like a monster out there. With the injuries, the line-ups for the fourth line is almost completely in the air.

If there's one good thing I've seen so far, it's that SH signed us what appears at this point to be a capable backup. Garon's still pitching a shutout, isn't he? Didn't LaCosta give up all the goals in the PIT & NSH games?

I don't necessarily care that they're losing these pointless preseason games; what I am worried about is that we're averaging what, 1.5 hospital visits per game?

No. He gave up the first one against Nashville.

But I agree, he does look like he's capable, especially with what our defense has forced him to deal with.

Vermette's was a huge mistake on Rinne's part - pretty funny actually.

One of the Nashville defenders skated through his line of site...Blum or Klein, and apparently the puck didn't end up where he thought it was. The entire arena basically shrieked because everyone ELSE could see the puck sitting there for a good two seconds. Painful to watch.
