2 serious injuries

Rejean Tremblay is reporting in La Press that two veteran players will have to get shot before games this year. He is reporting that both players have been taking tons of painkillers but even that, is not enough.

He is not mentionning names.... I am thinking about numbers 44 and 43.

I often wonder if a player playing under those circumstances doesn't actually hurt the team by playing. I guess it depends on the nature of the injury mind you.

I know Juneau's back has been ailing him for a good two seasons now, and it has seen to have made an impact more as the season's progress along. I would be surprised to hear that JJ is one of the two. He gets lots of ice time and the head to head battles against #1 centremen is a tough role game in and game out.

Yes, recall Ronaldo in the Final game of the World Cup France. Now, I'm not comparing Brisebois to Ronaldo...

I volunteer to do the shooting if it is Quintal and Juneau or Perreault or even Dackell

Sundstrom has a sore ankle as well, so it could be him.

Souray could take painkillers for his wrist, but I doubt they would give him a shot and freeze it. Hard to play hockey when you can’t feel your hand.

Holy crap guys - i log on five minutes ago and see these headlines: "Two serious injuries", "Very bad news", and "Zednik breaks arm".

My first visit to a hockey website today and my heart's in my mouth. I'm glad I decided to read the threads.
