We've seen big bodies like Patches and Lats.. how about we go with a different direction.. Sergei.

I'd give Lats a couple more games with them for now but i'm really interested to see what would happen with Sergei on that line, that lines speed would just be insane.

Sergei wasn't that impressive either but it won't hurt to try him there.

I'd like to see Sergei with them for one game.

Pacioretty will need to learn how to score in the AHL first.
Latendresse can hit hard but he wastes too many chances and shoots on the chest of goalies.

After today's game, I would say Latendresse.

Although, we haven't seen Sergei with them yet, and that he impressed me this evening. I hope JM puts him with gionta and plekanec for one game.

I'd dress both D'Ags and Sergei next game and give them each half the game on the line.

D'Ags seems a bit too much like Gionta though (shooter first) so I'm not sure he'd fit there.

I want D'Agostini with Latendresse and Lapierre on the 3rd line.
Pacioretty I love him but he needs to play in the AHL for a while.
So there's SKot available.. i'd try him with them.

Did the same survey on F.Gagnon's SLR blog 3 days ago and Sergei won.

Guillame didn't show me enough tonight to get a spot in the top 6. Big hits are one thing but we need scoring chances. Even his assist tonight was a horrible pass that Gorges luckily kept in front of him. And his chemistry with Lapierre is obvious.

I honestly have no idea who our #6 forward is right now.

Lats. He's big, he's physical, he has good hockey sense, he can pass, and he's shown he can score. It *should* be his job to lose, and he's certainly done the opposite tonight. He was relentless about driving to the net tonight. Perhaps too much, since that led to him shooting into the goalie a lot.

People can moan and ***** about how he shoots but unfortunately facts don't agree with them. In real games he scores on a lot of his shots.

Yo man, honestly relax a bit. We get it, you love Latendresse, but people are allowed to disagree with you. Some people just didn't like his game and they are allowed to. Some people that were even rooting for him like Whitesnake mentioned how we wasn't that great tonight. So just chill. It's not the end of the world if he doesn't become the 2nd line LW.

I think Sergei had a really positive game with meh linemates. Sergei-Pleks-Gionta is worth a gamble.

I'd agree with everything here but great hockey sense. He made a few bad decisions tonight.

Lats.

I think that he deserves it more than Sergei and that MaxPac should be sent back to Hamilton to polish his game. Thing is Lats would probably be a better fit than Sergei on the third line with Lappy, so I'm not sure. If Lats plays on the third line he needs to get regular PP time, though.

Latendresse or Sergei.

Funny how you're all bashing Lats. He missed some golden opportunities, but the fact he had so many opportunities means he's reading his linemates well. He played physical as well, which is great.

As far as Sergei is concerned, I loved his game tonight. He could be great with Pleks and Gio.

The only thing I'm sure of is that Pacioretty is in no way ready to take a top-6 spot. The guy generated absolutely nothing offensively speaking the other night. He needs more seasoning in the AHL. The other two are ready to take on top-6 roles.

But what about D'agostini ( I voted for Patches though...), he's a got a WAY better shot than Lats, is faster and has a decent physical present. They only thing that worries me with him is his inconstancy..

I would see a line-up like this one:

Cam - Gomez - A.Kost
Dags#S.Kost - Pleks - Gino
Lats - Lapierre - Dag#S. Kost

Lats is a perfect 3rd liner for this league. Let's not overrate him.

I'm wondering if you and I watched the same game tonight?

Having said that, I don't know if Sergei will mesh with Gionta/Pleks. You'll have two playmakers and only one shooter on that line. He definitely seems to have chemistry with Desharnais.
