Has anyone tried SRS composite stick repair?

I've seen ads in the Hockey News and online. Does it work? How much is it?
I have a very new S17 that is broken on the shaft, between where I would have my hands on the stick and am wondering if this is a good route to go.
Thanks

Basically, they cut around the break, and fill the area around the break with solid epoxy. I haven't used it, but every review I've seen has said it throws off the balance and weight pretty significantly, and shortens your stick as well.

If the stick is within warranty, which if it's very new it should be, that would be the way to go. SRS will put your stick in one piece, but it will never be the same.

It's new condition wise, but I broke it about 2 months ago. Thanks
