Just playing devil's advocate here...

Any chance Moore stays in Columbus this season as a 6/7th d-man? I say no, simply because seasoning would really help the kid, but if he's played so well in the pre-season, what would it hurt to give him his 9 games and see where things go?

Wait their giving out free tickets? Where do you get em? I'd go for free, especially if they are selling beer still in preseason

I think there is a very minute chance of it happening, but if it did happen I would understand why. Ultimately I think management knows that even though he's one of the only skilled guys we have, it's best for HIM to be in Juniors.

At this point, he's either in the last cut, or he's on the team. Still not convinced he plays the whole season, but I think he'll get a look early.

On the other side of things, and granted, I haven't seen any of the games so far, perhaps Little Nikita will find himself on the outside looking in when camp is over. When the coach says he's been on and off, and the once-overstocked wing position has opened with injury, this kid's got to rise to the occassion or risk starting the season down in Syracuse.

I just wonder how truly desperate we are for an OFD. I agree that he'll probably be among the last cut, but he's making it a tough decision for the organ-i-zation to make.

164.

I'm trying to figure out when I should start doing magic number updates on the main board. I might just start with the first game of the season.

For a kid just out of high school to make the team in the best league in the world, I'd say we're pretty desperate.

So I log onto the radio feed and it's 2-0 and then we score two quick ones.
I'm liking what I've heard, haha.

How has the beginning sounded?

I got a voucher for two free tickets to one of the preseason home games coming up (my choice ) at the OSU involvement fair. The Jackets had a tent set up there and it was quite popular. I think I'll be coming to the Pittsburgh game

You have to be there when I redeem it, and as it stands I don't have anyone to go with so if you weren't kidding then you would be in luck

As long as you aren't a wierdo then I don't care. Plus it would mean not riding the COTA alone late at night, which should be avoided at all costs

What would you define as a weirdo?
Yeah, it'll be my first time on the buses so I don't know who usually gets on them

It's not like I'm a looker or anything so I won't really have to be worried about anybody thinking anything

Well I'm not a qualified psychologist and I don't have the money to ask one, but according to my own analysis I shouldn't be that much of a problem there

Sounds like Boll just had a big hit.
Picard again sounds like he's playing well. What's the word on him?

The radio announcers seem considerably better than the TV announcers
