Couple of my close friends and I STILL quote this show. We all were out the other night, my buddy offered to pay for a movie ticket, and I randomly yelled, "they shoulda nevah gave you n*****s money!"

Best part is that these quotes are still hilarious, almost 10 years later.

Article on Grantland is 100% right saying if you went to high school the next day without seeing the new episode you were lost in class.

I still don't think I've ever seen anything as funny as the Clayton Bigsby sketch on tv.

Black Bush and Tupac were great too. Such an awesome show, brings back high school for sure.

Dave Chappelle is a genius.

Bigsby deserves to be the winner. It's the best representation of the show, the sketch that sold me on it, and has the absolute funniest line in the history of the show (why Clayton left his wife.) That said, Black Bush, Do You Know Black People?, and Prince would have been my personal favourites. Making the Band, Fisticuffs, WacArnold's, Mad Real World, Tupac, and I Plead The Fif are other classics. Just an incredible TV show.

Yup. Sometimes people my age (I was in high school as well during its run) tell me they've never seen the show and I just ask them what they talked about in 2004.

For me it's a toss-up between Making the Band, Black Bush and the final Wayne Brady sequence. They still kill me every time I watch em.

Wouldn't say Bigsby sketch is best Chappelle's Show sketch of all time.

I would say Black Bush is probably the best sketch of all time. That was classic.

Racial Draft and Tupac are probably my 2 favorites. But there's a lot of great ones.

I also almost cried of laughter at Bibble in the Deep Impact skit.

My favorite was Making the Band.

"Oh, you're just going to sit there and do you taxes? Is that how it's done on the streets?"

"Who are the 5 greatest rappers of all time? Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan...and Dylan. Cause I spit hot fire!"

Cambodian milk

The thing I remember the most about that show...was being a Freshman in 2004 and seeing that show on TV in every dorm as I walked to and from various engineering projects. So many doors open, so many TV's on Chappelle's Show...those were the days

Rick James will always be better than the Prince skit though. I never gave the Prince skit enough respect until the second time I saw it...I respect it more now but I don't think it's as iconic as Rick James.

Someone put the outtakes of that on Youtube. I don't know if it's still there, but they did that Dylan / Wyclef skit several times...and every time it is hilarious.

I think the rick james skit is a bit overrated, but its still pure comedic gold though.

My top five chapelle skits

1) Black president
2) Clayton Bigsby
3) The Wayne Brady one not sure of the name
4) Rick James
5) Racial Draft

I love comedy and till this day Dave Chapelle is probably still my favourite comedian

I remember when we tried to do a Racial Draft on HF. I was upset at whoever was the GM for Team Asia. If I recall correctly, he used our top pick on Yao Ming with Tiger Woods still on the board. I think we missed out on Keanu Reeves as well, but he hasn't done anything since 2004 either.

Seems much more recent that Chappelle fled the show and abruptly quit.

Still quote this show DAILY, as others have said.

Player haters ball is still one of my favourites...

" I thank god for giving everyone sooo much and me soo little"

"I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I don't know you but I want all the bad things in life to happen to you and no one but you"
