Stepan centering Kreider (and Kristo) on the 2nd line tonight. Nice.

Bourque is playing with Schroeder and Palmieri on the 1st.

Kreider has USA's only goal midway through the game, tying the game at 1.

Guy on the WJC board says he banged in a rebound from a point shot, again going to the tough areas.

Awards:
Exciting to have our 3 guys on the top two lines, even if it's just for this game.

Shows his goals, but they weren't flashy, just him being in front of the net. Doesn't show his breakaway, off the post chance
Sick, thanks Lev. Those are the kinda goals that are nice to see, I'm so excited for Kreider.

No I heard it a few times...not the best commentary; they went off on tangents every other minute and it seemed like they called only 3-4 players on the Czech team.

Bourque player of the game for the US.

Ah i LOVE it...

Kreider scores again and Bourque also scores...only goals by Rangers prospects.....

This is going to be a FUN couple of days coming up watching our three guys....i'm always extremely excited for the WJCs because its great hockey...but now having three good prospects to root for as well on team USA...it just does not get any better!

I know this question may be a bit late but what happened with Kundratek? He is the same age as Grachev and from all the reports I read was the Czech Republic's best d-man last tournament. Why is he not there?

Kundratek is not the same age as Grachev. Kundratek was a late 89 birth(after September 15).If he was born on 9/15/89,he would have gone in the 2007 draft. Kundratek is 20 years old. Too old for under 20 WJC. John Taveres should have gone in the 08 draft along with his buddies MDZ,Stamkos and Pietrangelo. Tavares was born after 9/15/90 so he went in the 09 draft.

USA Hockey has a game recap

Quote:
Chris Kreider's (Boxford, Mass./Boston University) power-play goal two minutes into the second period tied the game, 1-1. The rebound tally marked his third goal in two exhibition games with Team USA.
Boston University? Nice job. Not surprising when you consider the source. They don't mention Ryan Bourque plays for the Quebec Remprats(QMJHL). Just his hometown. If Ryan went to UNH,they would mention it in the press release.

Quote:
Team USA tied the game just seconds after its ninth power play of the night expired, as Bourque chipped a rebound over goalie Jakup Sedlacek's shoulder to knot the score, 2-2. The U.S. outshot the Czech Republic, 18-6, in the third period.
Quote:
Ryan Bourque was named Team USA's Player of the Game ... The 2010 U.S. National Junior Team roster will be announced tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. EST. The U.S. preliminary roster currently consists of 24 players, while the final roster will have only 22 players
http://www.usahockey.com/world_junio...tailedNews=yes

Jerry D'Amigo and Jason Zucker were the scratches. D'Amigo is a Leafs draftee and Zucker is a University of Denver 2010 recruit.

What's the cutoff for the tourney? You have to be born on or after 1/1/90? Kundratek just missed out in that case...

I'm thinking he was just named for that game cuz it'd seem kind of weird otherwise, but I don't know
