There were teams posted on the CBJ site, but they have subsequently disappeared. It seemed like a bunch of scrubs for us. Don't know if it will remain that way.

I hope so... I know what Nash plays like, but I want more info on Lil' Niki, Calvert, Maxim M, etc.

Preseason games are for checking your depth, not about icing the best team.

So hopefully it will be feet to the fire for all the young dudes.

agreed, only addendum would be, i'd like to have our top two lines playing together to fine tune their timing as a unit. hit the ground running and all.

IIRC - no top line.

Vermette and Voracek - yes but no Umberger
but it did include most of the other forwards (that aren't hurt) that are in camp.

On the blue line, I remember Hejda and a bunch of youngsters.

Mason and Garon were both listed.

However, the list had 20 skaters listed, 13 forwards and 7 d. Two have to be dropped from the list.

I need to add a quote from Hitch's presser last night "Everyone's got all these owies going on." I think he was referring to all teams in the league, it just struck me as very funny - thought I'd share.

I'd also like to give praise to the Pittsburgh and Nashville team sites for having pre-season game highlights. Boo to Minny and our own CBJ. The games are taped. They aren't on TV. The least you people could do would be to put the highlights on the website.

It is time to see who is going to step up this pre season if anyone. Would like to see Picard play again as well as the players you mention.

I'm guessing no live feed again tonight. The radio guys are good, but mine eyes have seen the glory of the firing of the cannon.

I'd say you're guessing right. It is painful to not see.

I saw Russell and Dorsett coming out of Buca around 12:00 so my guess is they are playing tonight since the non-playing group had practice at 11:30. But i could be totally wrong too!!

If I where little Nikky I'd have some big butterflies right now, Hitch will be watching him with laser eyes tonight.

The rest of the lineup is chuck full of guys who want to make the team. I'm hoping Mayorov, Picard, Murray and Dorsett have good games.

With that defense Mason better wear two helmets; he's going to get shelled.

Boston seems to be icing a more veteran team than Minnesota did last night. It'll be interesting to see how the boys fare against them.

I was at the game last night, and it was so amazing to be back. Can't wait to do it again tonight. :]

We may be playing a lot of depth players tonight out of necessity since it seems half our verterans have "nagging" injuries already. See Puck-rakers post.

Something came up (bad, unfortunately) and I can't go tonight. Will let the tickets go for $25 for two. PM if interested.

I wonder if the ice crew is having pre season tryouts also. 12 ice scrapers?! And not a very good ratio either! With the games not being televised, its annoying to see the tv timeouts....especially when they come out and pretty much zamboni the ice with 12 people, then they come out AGAIN 1 minute later to do it all over again, as if 100 people were on the ice!

Wonder what the attendance will be tonight, I think last night might have had 6k in attendance. And I dont know if this is just from my stand point being in the upper bowl, but was the PA obscenely loud last night? It was actually painful to the ears at times. "Uhh, guys, theres 6k people here, you can take the volume off 11, we most certainly can hear you!"

Hopefully it will be a decent game for our full price tickets, last night was a nice beat down to watch, lets just hope it doesnt get reversed.

Only 6 or 7 regulars tonight.

I would guess this is the last look that a lot of these guys are going to get, so they should be busting their ***** tonight to try and earn more time.

Won't be pretty like last night, but should be fun, and chippy.
