the flyers season ended today at 3:00 pm eastern time.

I love Leights as much as the next guy watching him win some games for us here during the Reg. season, but I can't convince myself that once we hit the PO's he won't get exposed badly in a 7 game series against solid teams...

Maybe we can steal a series if we stay in 6th and get lucky with a NE div opponent, otherwise it looks like we're playing within the division

Well, Leino looked good tonight and Laviolette was mixing it up a bunch. I could see him keeping the lines mixed from the norm next game. If Powe is back, I'd like to see Hartnell sit for once. He has been our worst player the last two games. Hopefully, they'll look something like this:

JVR-Carter-Briere
Gagne-Richards-Leino
Powe-Giroux-Asham
Carcillo-Betts-Laperriere

And then give Giroux PP time.

I would like to see:

Hartnell-Carter-Giroux (Giroux is not a 3rd line center)
Gagne-Richards-Leino (Leino should get his shot, won't have to do to much to thrive. Open up ice by constantly going to open areas, be ready for the pass and keep it simple)
JVR-Powe-Briere (Ideal line for Briere imo, big body in JVR and speedy, gritty Powe to open up ice for him. Briere is at his best with these kind of players, he showed it with the Sabres)
Carcillo-Betts-Lappy (Carcillo could be moved up to the 2nd line if needed)

Pronger-Carle (It works)
Timonen-Coburn (Our top 4 is capable of playing 45-50 minutes a game, stack the units)
Krajicek-Parent (10-15 minutes a game, Krajicek has been great but we need Coburn to elevate his game for the playoffs and I don't like having Parent and Coburn together)
