Pretty good episode last night. Best line:

Phil's old girlfriend (aka Kitty from Arrested Development ): "So...how do you want to do this?"
Phil: "I figured I would just point to the door..."

I love Phil's explanation of what Jagermeister is:

"Well you know in fairy tales when the princess drinks the magic potion and then she falls asleep and all the boys kiss her? Well it's like that except the princess wakes up in a frat house with a bad reputation."

Saw this for the first time last night .. seemed pretty good.

And holy crap, has Ed O'Neill ever aged terribly! Julie Bowen is certainly looking like she's hit 40, but she's still a lot of fun to look at.

Well he is 63. Other than the gut I think he's doing alright for that age. Still has his hair!

Another solid episode this week. Another great line from Cam, "probably cuz you refer to them as sports games", my terminology may be off but it was still funny as hell.

Does anyone know if Cam is gay in real life? He can pull off the rolll quite well, very flamboyant.

I have to say I am really getting into this show. I checked it out on repeat one day and became hooked. Everyone works their role so well, and they all provide a great balance. It just might be my personal favorite as far as current comedies go!

As far as last week episode is concerned, I really enjoyed it. "If you were that type of gay, I think you would do good for yourself."

“Honestly I with that little tart would go back to Columbia and take her weird little brown friend with her.” — Cameron about Mitchell’s Ivy League friends (but Gloria thinks he’s talking about her and Manny)

Is this show still good? I stopped watching it after the ~9th episode for no apparent reason. I'm so far behind I'm not sure if it's worth my while to catch up.

Jesse Ferguson who plays Mitchell is, but Eric Stonestreet (Cam) is not.

I think Phil might be one of the best new characters on TV but Cam and Manny are the funniest by a solid margin.

The end of that episode after they try Haley's cupcakes was one of the funniest things I've seen in quite a while.

"My mouth is asleep like at the dentist." I was in tears.

Phil and Cameron are amazing.
The little boy who plays Luke is great too, I cracked up when he put on the noise free headphones and was like "no one can hear me. everyone is stupid, except me" lol

So my trip to LA all makes sense now. When I was there about a month ago I saw Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson outside an Apple store in an area called the grove. I figured they were filming since there was a crew there but know I know how it all fits in.

Back on topic, thought last episode was a little weak in the dialogue department.

Agreed. I thought it was one of the worst episodes.

Yeah, although the batting cages aspect was pretty funny, but it wasn't on par with what I've been used too which is at least one moment in an episode really making me laugh.

Pretty Meh eposiode to end the season. Seeing as I had read the original draft of the script and the shooting script before seeing the ep, it kinda lost it's luster. The scenes at Mitchell's new boss' house were probably the best though.

Two kinda disappointing episodes to finish off the season imo. Can't wait for next season though!
