Home, Home on the Road... (Wings Excellent Swedish Adventure)

Oh,give me a home where the reindeer roam,
Where the deer and the elk play;
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
And the skies are not cloudy all day...

I guess the cloudy skies part may rule out Sweden.

I think the media blitz is about to start, as evidenced by:
http://blog.mlive.com/snapshots/2009...ngs_coach.html

There will be questions about game times, who's playing whom, where you can watch, and last minute deals to Stockholm. Put 'em all in this bucket.

Go Wings!

It might be available at myp2p.net, browse around the site, you'll get the hang of it. Should download Sopcast too, if you don't already have it installed.

Kronwall had to find 120 tickets for the two games. Ouch. He must have a huge family.

Braintrust said they were doing this as much for Nick as anything.

I have 3 extra tickets for both games in Sweden.

I will sell them under the normal price just to get them sold.

If somebody is interested, please put private message to me.

Toronto media picks up on the Lidstrom story, how the Wings wanted to honor him.... 4 Cups, 6 Norrises, and the C for the Wings.

He even looks good in a tux.

That jersey Franzen has on in that Detroit news photo...Boro Vetlanda....is it possible to buy one? I'd like one obviously with his name and number on it...I'm assuming his number was six when he was there? Anyone know?

that's his hometown club. he played there till age 20. they were division 2 and 3 at that time. that's 4th/5th tier.
for a few seasons now they play constantly division 2.

no, but vetlanda is part of jönköping county (län). biggest city in jönköping county is jönköping, home of HV71. in sweden usually players of smaller teams join the biggest club of their county in U18/U20. the biggest club has simply more to offer. better coaches, better chances to develop.

We love you, captain Nick!

....hmmm, wondering if this "home/road trip " we'll finally see a rare display of emotion from Captain Calm

Those of you trying to sell tickets? Zetterberg says he could use a few more, as 80 is not enough.

Does anyone else think it is incredibly stupid that they are having the first game on Friday at 3:00pm and not reshowing it at all the rest of that day?
