Not a HV fan, but I'm a fan of Janne. It really is a weird coaching decision. Maybe they wanna do a trade in the offseason; Janne for Kenta? I'm sure both teams' fanbases would love that.

Looks like Larsson is back tomorrow

I'll be watching Skellefteå and Linköping again. Think it's easily the most entertraing series of the four.

Ant streams for today's games?

Especially the doctor's game, really want to see how his defensive game is.

Not a game too late, I'd say. The quote in that article is also suggesting something is not right. It's like Lundqvist playing a 70 game season with the Rangers, then the career backup(Johnson) comes in and starts the playoffs, meanwhile he finds out from Brooks in NYP. In a slightly larger scale ofc, but my point remains

Weird indeed.

I also prefer that matchup, by far the best.

Not entertaining if you're a fan of either of the teams..

I think it's awesome that we're able to have such a young defence.. but sometimes these kids can get you so incredibly frustrated.

Given the outcome of the first couple of games I'd say the HV-AIK series is the most interesting matchup. HV have some problems to sort out here, goaltending, lack of effort, lack of scoring...

I like the LUL-DIF series too, really tight games this far with a couple of unproven goaltenders. Luleå has been impressive this far giving up so few chances for DIF to capitalize on.

Only a mother could love the way Luleå plays, but you got to admire the work effort they put in. It´s not a match series in my taste, it´s pretty physical and intense but it lacks true nerve since neither team creates any good chances. You know Djurgården can´t score and that Luleå will win when they capitilize on one or two defensive misstakes.

The feeling now is that the winner of Färjestad vs AIK will meet Luleå in the finals..
AIK vs Luleå might be a pretty boring final but amazing considering them being such underdogs!

It's amazing seeing Johan Davidsson so upset. It's so strange and unlike him. Goes to show you how aggravated HV is as a team right now.

Also, Per Ledin's contract has to be the worst one in the entire league. 6 years at $3M total for an over-the-hill, now fourth-line player.

Except for Junlands hit and maybe one or two more that was everygame kind of hits... Most of the times it seems the hitter even couldn't stay on his feet..

I dont see how Luleå is such a big underdog. I mean sure to get to the finals we are underdogs but hardly to make the semis.
Especially sense we are facing dif, a team we have + on the entire season and finished ahead of in the league.

I think that we would have a hard time beating either lhc or saik in the semi thou. Would rather have hv to be honest.

And i dont think that FBK would have any trouble beating aik either.
I think its a mather of aik shocking hv thats happening right now. Also seems like the team isnt all that well in the locker room. Lots of roumers going around why Larsson was benched.

And yea signing Ledin was a terrible deal concidering how he played.
Kinda like Hedström 2.0, they both went astray from what was working for them and i think perhaps more so in Ledin´s case he started to think that he was a great skilled player instead of a great bunker.
Am glad he didnt sign with Luleå the way things turned out.

Magnus Johansson gets Guldhjälmen (Golden Helmet) as the players' MVP of the season. First defenseman to win it since Rikard Franzén in 2000.

Hm, perhaps that was poorly phrased.. what I mean is that Luleå were not as big of an underdog as AIK were at the beginning of the season, but lets face it, everyone had Luleå at 7th place or lower.
Now from what we've seen from them this season you could hardly call them underdogs in the playoffs, but still, both Luleå and AIK have surpassed everyones expectations.

Game 1: Hadelöv 40/43 saves, Skellefteå won 4-3 in OT.
Game 2: Hadelöv 30/35 saves, Linköping won 5-1.
Game 3: Hadelöv 31/35 saves, Linköping won 4-3 in OT.
Game 4: Hadelöv 32/32 saves, Skellefteå won 1-0.

LHC has consistently kept firing on Hadelöv who's had to face 144 shots. Norrena was great during the regular season and has played really well in this series so far. To have a chance to win, I believe Hadelöv will have to outmatch Norrena like he did yesterday for two more games.

Wow, what an epic fail for HV71!!!! That one will be tough to swallow getting swept by AIK but that's what happens when you go with your back-up goaltender!!!!

Victor Fasth: GP: 4, W: 4, L: 0, GAA: 1.0, SV%: 97.3

He is too old/small/frail for the NHL and there is really no point in signing him for any team since he'll totally bust anyway.

Seriously though, how do we keep finding these guys? Our goaltending history is better than some NHL teams'; Lindbergh, Thomas, Kiprusoff, Bäckström, Gustavsson, Wesslau, Toskala.

I'm not happy becasue HV lost per se, but it is refreshing to see a few new teams in the mix this year. I kinda' sit and hope that Brynäs can pull it out somehow, and I always throw my support behind the Norrland teams... as long as they don't play Örebro... just because. I know that long-term it may not be a hit with Frölunda , Linköping and possibly HV in financial distress, but well, let's say that I enjoy the paus in all the chatter about taking the top 8 teams in Sweden and make it a closed league becasue they are such outstanding hockey markets... bla-bla-bla.

Congrats AIK. That might be the last time I say that this decade...
