I don't think it was ever in question. Atleast I hope not.

Budaj was terrible last year. Maybe he can be an alright backup but I don't think he'll ever be a starter again.

I want the Avs to trade for another first round

Highway to Hall and Cashing for Campbell

Jack Campbell would be a GODSEND to this team.

Hendricks is one crazy SOB.

I'd be very surprised if he didn't make the team.

In the pre-season. Lets see him do it in the regular season.

Assists to Galiardi and Duchene.

Who would we trade that'd get close to the return of a mid-first? I just don't see it. In fact, I don't think any of the assets we'll likely deal at the trade deadline will return a first rounder thanks to Duke's extension. Avs will have to trade up at the draft but I agree, I would love it if we could have at least a middle first rounder at the end to go with our own.

I'm glad we're not stuck with quite this level of terrible goaltending the whole season. Wow. Anderson better not pull this crap...

Double their shots, but still lose. That should never happen.

Almost every young hockey player does, and so do a lot of people in hockey, is that really surprising?

Eh I guess not. Everybody needs to stroke their ego once and a while... I know first hand.

Anyways... Budaj kind just proved why he won't get resigned once contract is up.

Too be honest, I don't know why you would brag on the internet about stuff that could be 100% factual for all anyone knows. Seems extremely lame.

Anyways, just came in to check how O'Reilly looked tonight. Any updates?

I guess the good news is that the Avs opener is on TSN, and second game is against Vancouver on a Saturday...thus HNIC. That means i get to watch Duchene the first two games of the year!
A couple things. The game vs the Sharks got pulled from TSN

And the game on Saturday is only on Sportsnet Pacific

Yeah, the Avs will barely be on TV this season in Canada.

Who knows, none of the Avs pre-season games are televised. And tonights game was in Dallas.

Listening to the radio, he played decent. Good on the PK.

Wow Budaj sucks.

But go MD with a point! Svatos goal is exciting, too.

I think Budaj and Weiman should have to fight in the parking lot for the backup job. To the death. That way, the one who lives will likely be on long term injured reserve and we can find someone else to start a few games. SUCK!
