Flames release Fleury, preds pick him up?

I know the Poile has been trying very hard to get us a top 6 forward and has been unsuccessful. I know Poile is more than capable of doing it, but its obviously the money situation, which really stinks.

I was just pondering in my head once I read this article,

http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=292512

Do you think the preds would be interested in him?? I mean he hasn't played for a while but could fit in nicely with Legwand and Erat and I am also pretty sure that he could be had for cheap. I think he just wants to play hockey and show people he can do it, I do not think he necessarily needs to be on a contending team.

Any thoughts??

Theoren Fleury is not a top six forward anymore, he has lost too much speed. I don't see a whole lot of interest in him from any team outside of the Northwest.

So apparently the ignore feature only works for posts, not topics.

You learn something new every day.

But no, I'd pass on Theo.

No, it works for topics. That's what that little x button beside every thread title is for.

I'm not going to lie, I was excited to hear Theo was making a comeback. With that said, if the Flames CUT him....I think that speaks volumes to his speed and legs right now. He probably needs to take the AHL then back to the NHL route if he is truly serious about this come back.
