Yep - dumb. I watched him make Markov's diagonal pass to the opposite faceoff dot, thinking " Kovy should be one timing that - not passing it!"

I don't believe that at all. He will be one great d-man in a short future.

Koivu scored on a top corner slapshot. I think we haven't seen that in Montreal for years since he rarely uses it. Funny that the media in Montreal were saying that Koivu cannot play for more than 14 minutes per game and he's logging 18-20 minutes in Anaheim.

Man, look at the stats for points, assists and goals. The capitals have at least 3 guys top5 in each category. I know it goes together but usually there are guys from different teams that get a good start to the year and top the charts for the first month or so, not all the same team.

Last year was the same with AO, Semin, Backstrom and Green.

Ducks blow a 3-0 3rd period lead and lose 4-3 in OT. First the SJ blowout loss and now this. Saku must be wondering if he's still stuck in last season's disaster.

Kings are whooping SJ so far, 3-0.

Make that 4-0.

To be fair, two goals on 28 shots isn't a bad line for one's first NHL start. That's the goaltending they aren't getting from Toskala.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Capitals "solve" him 3 times already on Saturday?

I hope the Leafs pick it up...

We wouldn't want them to give a top10 pick to the Bruins! I hope they end up 10th in the east or something like that.

Sharks have stormed back, it's now 5-4 Kings.

Komisarek wanted to sign with the Bruins

What a joke this Komisarek is turning to be!

You don't want to re-sign with the team that drafted you, put you behind the bench when you were injured and was going to make you the captain of the team this season but you would rather sign with the team that beat you (literally) everytime you played them.

The biggest surprise among the Canadian has just been this big defender's decision to turn back to the organization. He was right. But the reality is that Toronto was not his choice. He has done everything to convince the Bruins the first of July, but the formation of Boston has not budged because his demands were too high. Eventually he accepted a 5-year contract that will bring him $ 22 500 000. He had reason to look toward Boston. But knowing that Boston would not be in the race, Montreal would have been a more logical choice, especially in the short term. Time will tell if he was right.

By signing with the Bruins he probably figured the money saved on dry-cleaning his pants alone would have nearly doubled his net income.

If you track it back, it's Renault Lavoie at RDS:
