Maybe he wanted the chance to gently rub Lucic's back in the showers after every game...who knows.

As a Bruin fan, I know I would have been pissed if a Bruin player turned down an offer weith the Bruins and went with their most hated{respected} rivalry.
But you know what?? He's not worth the contract Leafs gave him and Habs are better off. You can probably see now why we hatred the guy. He's not looking that good in T.O land and he loves to go after players half his size. Between Laraque and Lucic/Thornton, I hope he gets what's coming to him..AGAIN!!!!!

You don't want to re-sign with the team that drafted you, put you behind the bench when you were injured and was going to make you the captain of the team this season but you would rather sign with the team that beat you (literally) everytime you played them.

What joke? Isn't that the best way to not get you ass kicked once again?

Lol, believe me I know the feeling. But alot of my friends are Hab fans and we usually agree when we talk about Leafs or some other team other than Habs/Bruins. I also have folks on this board I chat with. I like Whitesnakes's comments and think he's very fair. He often visit's the Bruins board and I like his comments whether I agree with them or not.

That translation WestIslander posted should not read ''He was right'' but ''it was his right''.

All you need to know about this story is that his agent Matt ''the devil'' Keator is based in Boston, Chiarelli is reportedly a close friend of his and there are at least 3 of his clients on the Bruins roster - Chara, Stuart and Wheeler.

5 minutes after I posted, there you were..there's a coincidence. I hope you do come over to the Bruin's board. I honestly enjoy your comments. I know some there are rude towards Hab fan as I know its the same here towards Bruin fans. But we're not all like that. What fun is there if we all rooted for the same team??
Gotta admit, I'm not a regular HFer as you can see by my posts. There's another Bruin board out there that I spend 90% of the time there..

Pierre McGuire on the team 990 just now admitting he may have overhyped the Leafs and he feels the Habs did something to their pysche in the opener.

After the leafs being overrated in Toronto, I'm now getting the feeling they're going to be underrated in Toronto. I must admit seeing them lose is particularly satisfying, haha.

Rivalries and bias aside though, it's incredible how similar Leaf fans and us hab fans are.

180's are becoming his trademark....ripped the Habs for the Price pick and then gushed a year later, about how great the pick was.

Woo! Another point for Lang. Assist on the latest goal. I really took a shine to this guy last year, stupid Achilles

I hope that he has an awesome year and gets a few more cracks in the NHL proving he can still hack it
