So before this girl was going out with me she was in a long-term relationship with another guy. They were together for 16 months...Out of nowhere over summer break he breaks up with her and has a new girl-friend in 3 days...So she was pretty upset and hurt by him.

3 weeks later me and this girl start going out...Everything was going good for about a month and a half. She calls me up Thursday night crying and all upset saying she's not trying to hurt me but she just needs to be single for a while because she still has feelings for him. She says she needs some time to get over him. She says I'm such a sweet guy and she still likes me but she thinks she rushed into a relationship to fast.

She said she wants to get back together with me in the future, and I want to be with her, but I'm not going to sit around and wait months and months for her. We're still friends and we talk everyday but I don't think I can be just friends with her.

Do you think she really wants to get back together in the future? How long do I give her before I move on?
I can't give useful advice so im not going to try haha.

fantastic advice left and right.

I'm glad the Canucks decided they can play hockey tonight.

I also feel for you and your Hal Gill-ified defense Saku. You think they'll make any more moves other then MA Bergeron?

He's a great guy, I've met him on a few occasions, but man, he just lugs his way around the ice.

That being said

thank goodness the All-star game isn't in Montreal this year or else I could see him being a starter

Hal Gill IS a All-Star!!

I don't expect us to make another move T, don't think a team is looking to trade a good top 4 puck moving defenceman right now.

Bergeron should help the PP and he can't be much worst than Weber defensivly, althought both are pretty bad.

Fair enough. Just sucked to see a Canadian team i tend to enjoy really lost on the back end last night. So immobile. Bergeron will help offensively but the guy has more defensive gaffes then the entire team combined.

I never thought I'd see the day I saw Rick Rypien fight Hal Gill. Excellent night.

Wasn't pretty last night for sure. Without Markov, we've always been lost. 8-21-2 or something like that since the lockout without Markov in the line up.

And yeah Gill should keep his gloves on from now on haha.
