Jackets at Boston on the Tube (sort of!)

NESN (New England Sports Network) will be broadcasting the game in the Boston area. Directv will have it on Ch 628 if subsribers have the sports pac ( I have it!!)

Im sure some enterprising geeks will find a way to stream it to the internet and will provide a link, but I have NO idea how to do that.

hockeystreams.com already does it, but of course they ask for donations first and this tends to freak people out.

Anyone with NESN capabilites, get ready for a huge homer broadcast. Think Rimer is bad . . .

It will on here for those without DTV... http://hockeystreams.com/ The game is on the docket, the $5 bucks for extremly fast downloading is worth it. The biggest challange in streaming games (for me at least) is figuring out how to get the feed linked from my PC to my TV.

It's pretty much Boston's A team against our C (at best) team...won't be pretty.

So true, one established top six forward and two top six defenseman. The offense may look like a chinese fire drill, more time for Filatov to work on his defense and Garon on his rebounds imo. Although I will be praying Nikki gets a goal or two with Brass helping him out..

To be fair, Ottawa's A team couldn't beat Boston's B team last night, so Columbus could have some luck tonight.

Boston's icing a full lineup because it's their final preseason game. I expect Columbus to play a very good game because it seems you have a lot of players there fighting for spots.

Good luck!

Aren't some of those regional sports packages full of blackouts? When I had Dish, I would try to watch some of the games on the FSN networks, CSN, or NESN & get nothing.

I think I'll be listening to the Benny Hill theme for most of the game.

Wow, Michael Blunden, Raffi Torres, Derek Dorsett, Alexandre Picard, Tom Sestito, Jared Boll, Stefan Legein, Matthew Roy, David Liffiton is a lot of grit and agitators for a team. You guys will get to see Syracuse Crunch style hockey tonight. Won't be pretty but will be pretty entertaining.

Thanks for the link. Looks like it will try to load, hopefully it is pretty smooth tonight.
My backup is myp2p for streams, you just have to click on "live sports" on the top after you get to the home page, they usually have something if the game is actually being televised somewhere

Is he a top six? I guess he is but if we sign him I'll peg him at #7 on my personal list until seeing him play a few regular season weeks..

I sort of thought we might be dominated in our last two games here at home as well. Both Pitts and Boston brought superior lineups to the one's we had iced and we fared well. At home I am sure Boston will put up a strong fight.

I just hope to see the same competitive energy that we have seen out of our guys the last few games and that everyone comes out healthy.

The regular season is blacked out, unless you have center ice.

I have watched a few exhibition games this month on the regional sports packages, so you should be able to see this one. Just be prepared to pay up if you want to see the games in October.

I seem to remember a certain AHL line-up beating the mighty Caps last season.
