How's Sammy been this season? He has only 8 points and I see from your lines thread that he's been on the 3rd line. Are you expecting an improved scoring pace from him going forward?
1st week is just the first point he can be removed from the IR. Still not sure what kind of time frame we're working with on this one but I am expecting at least a few weeks past that.
What is taking the Cane's so long to put Ward on the IR? Emery of the Flyers is on a similar situation and they already put Emery on LTIR, before the break even..
I just released Cam today because I didn't want to wait any longer. That's good news for Cam and the Canes, because any time I do something like that it comes back to bite me.

honestly I can see him continuing on the path he's going. He had some really good seasons in Dallas before falling on hard times. I'm fairly confident that he'll be a pretty consistent 50-60 point guy in the league with some seasons over that.

im in an expensive fantasy hockey league and I had Cam Ward, Pekka Rinne, and Fleury. At this point I need a third goalie since Ward is hurt. Who is gonna get the bulk of the starts? Peters or Legace?

Peters or Legace: They'll basically split time for the rest of the season, or until Ward returns.
Ward's return: there have been recent rumblings that he may come back before the end of the year, and my guess is that he will. However, even if you do get him, you'll only get him for a few games.

If it's a keeper league, you might seriously consider it...maybe even just before the season ends. If the league ends at the end of the season, prolly not worth it.
Is he likely to return next season? I'm thinking of drafting him in a keeper league, but only if there's a good possibility that he's coming back.
It's hard to say for certain, but I'd say it's more likely than not that he'll play in the NHL this coming year. He's motivated to come back to NA, and this will be the Hurricanes last year to get some value out of him, so they'll either sign him or trade him to another NHL team.
