Is there a hockey version of the Harlem Globetrotters out there?

I'd be surprised if someone didn't at least take a chance on him. He's got such immense talent that it's at least worth taking a chance. Maybe it works out maybe it doesn't but he'll defintiely get picked up.

I think the Avs should pick him up. They need offense this season.

I just can't see this kid ever putting it all together. He's got great talent though.

I have never seen a player that encapsulated the interest of fans for as long as Rob Schremp has. In a day where one bad season makes a player a "bust" and guys like Tuomo Ruutu are called busts.... here we have a player that springs optimism from fans out of his arse.

Not saying that I totally disagree that he could eventually be a quality player for your powerplay.... it's just very very odd. The legacy that he created with that stacked London Knights team has followed him.

He's good enough to play on a NHL PP and do some good.

He just can't hang with these players at 5v5.

Kid legitimately put in the work this summer. I hope he gets picked up.

Because of the 3 or 4 seconds some people have seen of him, they think that's all he is. Nothing wrong with that, but like I said, just ignorance.

you would have to think a bottom team would give him a shot

maybe Nashville who could give him a shot on top lines?

Robbie cant skate well enough to avoid the tough areas he dont like going to. For a goal scorer he sure hasnt lit the lamp much since jr. I was always hoping he would work out but maybe a change of scenery will benifit him.

Personally, I think he's right. If Schremp had spent half as much time taking power skating lessons as he did practicing that stupid lacrosse crap, he might be a top 6 forward in the NHL by now. His issues with the previous regime were legitimate but he didn't help his case by playing like garbage in the AHL last year. Sure, Springfield sucked but you had guys like Devan Dubnyk who were able to rise above the mediocrity and prove their worth. Schremp didn't. And now under a new regime, he's been waived. I used to be a pretty big Schremp defender, but I think the truth is pretty apparent now.

He's slow. Wouldn't really fit in with the rest of out team. We don't have any room for him in our top six anyway. Not like Burke will bother putting a claim in anyways.

One of his biggest problems in terms of his offensive production not translating is that he has a hell of a slapshot but his windup is so painfully slow that it's no longer that effective. Goalies in the OHL couldn't stop it but it's nothing special anymore.

And yes, he will get picked up, hopefully by the Rangers. We have a logjam of forwards as it is but still...

Who are the good even strength teams with not enough powerplay players?

A team like that could use Schremp sparingly at even strength and on the second PP unit.
