It's kind of humorous as the Medicine Hat goalie is names Bunz. Good looking goalie except for the puck handling. Thx for posting.

Foucault picked up 2 assists in 2 seperate games as his Hitmen split the opening two games against the Wheat Kings. He was also a +1.

Haula picked up another assist in 2 games and is the 2nd leading scorer for his team in the playoffs, he dropped to a -1 though. The Lancers split the opening 2 games with the Fargo Force.

Updated, all we have left playing is Kris Foucault who has had a decent playoff, and looks like he will be playing more as his Calgary Hitmen are up 3-0 on the Tri-City Americans.

And to update that, Foucault and Calgary are playing in the Memorial Cup.

For those of you that have the NHL Network, Foucault and Calgary will be on at 2pm versus Moncton.

Looks like Foucault scored the tying goal in today's game in which his team won 5-4.

That was the only one I missed =(

Overall, he was noticeable on the powerplay and had a couple scoring chances. To me, which also was stated by the announcers, he has a good shot. He has obviously proven to be clutch the last two playoffs. I found him to be a floater and weak on the boards but the effort was there. He did stand out at last year's prospect camp for shots/hands. Hopefully he will get more time next year since the last two years Calgary has been stacked. If he developed a little more grit in the corners and backchecked better, he just might be a goalscorer.

That game was awesome. Moncton completely dominated Calgary the first period, most of the second, then Calgary just took it to Moncton in the third. I was impressed with Gormley, he looked to be very poised and make a good first pass. I also thought that Barberio looked awesome (already drafted). I wish I was able to see more CHL games.

I wish I was able too as well, but we get to see a lot of NCAA games, which is nice, but the big guns mostly play in the CHL. It's great that the NHL network is broadcasting it.

Foucault has two goals so far in the first period of the Brandon/Calgary semi Memorial Cup game. It's on NHL network.

Pretty stick work there to set up the goal. 4 points so far in the first period.

I missed the first goal. Did the announcers state why Foucault and a teammate got into a fight during a morning practice?

And, yes, that last goal was some of the best hands I've seen thus far during the Memorial Cup.

Foucault will be heading back to Jr. next year too?

I'm glad to see him doing so well in this tourney and the playoffs. Great to see him do well.

kris said in an interview it was just frustration by both players, said it wasnt much, and they are still friends.

On another note, he is now tied with taylor hall for second in scoring in the memorial cup, with the hitmen playing brandon in the semi-final on friday, winner plays windsor for the memorial cup on sunday.

Eero and Ilvonen won't be signed, per Russo...so long kids.

And Hovinen!

Oh well, that's alright, not that we can afford to lose more prospects, but they probably won't be playing over here anyway.

For sure, never knew what the big deal was about Elo, he put up decent numbers out in Finland, but he looked like a worse skater than Sheppard.

Which I don't really get, but, whatever.

Elo seemed to be the perfect Fletcher prospect. Good hands, subpar feet. There was really no harm in retaining Elo and Ilvonen. Both were doing fairly well, even though they probably weren't going to make it in the NHL. But they still had a chance. Seems like the Finns were purged from the system.

I could see us taking one Finn with one of our first 3 picks this year between Granlund or Pulkkinen. It's going to be a cool draft to see.

I'd be super pumped if we got Nino or if Connolly fell to us at #9. That'd be a great situation. If he's there, I think we'd have to take him unless they find out something medically that is bad. I wonder if we are high on Burmistrov? All that I've read about him is great, but the Russian factor is rather scary. I wonder if we take him...

Well none of those three were really projecting to have an NHL career at this point, and I'm sure Fletcher spoke with them and they might have desired to remain in Europe rather than play in Houston. And if that's the case, let them walk.

Why would Elo be a good prospect if he can't skate?

I stand by the thought that Eero Elo was Doug Risebrough's version of Tojo Taro Tsujimoto.

Yea, Elo looked to have the hockey sense of a brick wall. He had a good shot but was horrible positionally and couldn't do anything with the puck.

What a name, though.

Another thing DR failed at.

Foucault's got promise...a scout told me he could end up being the steal of the 09 draft.
