Those 7 games better be on Versus/NBC.

After this disappointment I will be prepared to be disappointed by the release of the HD schedule.

At least there's no Rimer for those 7 games.

FSO is full of fail

There are options, like hockeystreams and possibly some free streams that are hard to watch.

If you remember last year down the stretch they picked up extra games during the playoff stretch run. Center Ice also cures all of these problems.

Either:

A) Get Center Ice

B) Go to a bar that has Center Ice

C) Find a stream on a computer.

You people need to stop *****ing and just deal with it.

Center Ice can be had for the cost of two lower bowl seats and a few beers.. Insight however does not offer it for those stuck with that dumb provider..

Get ready to hang out with George & Bill...err, Bob for those games, I'm afraid. It'll be the same old crap from the networks.

Versus will schedule us for one game (maybe two because we made the playoffs), then bump us for the battle for last place in the NHL or an extra Pittsburgh or Minnesota game.

NBC will put us on the flex schedule, then yank the game.

I pay for the sports package to get FSN-Ohio. I have every right to "*****" as you would say about non-televised games. I don't pay for that package to watch reruns of the best damn sports shows top 50 moments or whatever other crap they put on the channel.

Seriosuly - people in Columbus have NO right to ***** about not being able to see some games.

If only you lived in Cleveland and knew what we have to put up with on a nightly basis.....[calling Skraut support.....]

Actually, since we pay for our cable service and some pay more for a sports tier just to get FSNohio, we do have a right to ***** about games not being televised. I don't care what FSN's excuse is, they just received some of the highest ratings for CBJ games this past year and they can't even broadcast all 82 games? Imagine if we asked for all 82 in HD, they would probably laugh us out of the building.

You say to get center ice, why should I have to pay $200-whatever just to see 7 games? These games should be covered by any network that calls itself the home of the blue jackets hockey.

Time to ditch FSN I say!

Center Ice won't work if you live in Ohio, the Jackets are blacked out everytime.

I'm lucky to see 50 games with the Cavs always playing the same days.

Center Ice is there for me when the Jackets are on FSN but the Cavs play. But if it's blacked out, you gotta watch other games.

If memory serves me correctly, they only picked up one game "down the stretch", and that was because Versus originally scheduled the Feb. 3 game with St. Louis and dropped it for another game that night. And given that game took place well before the trade deadline, I don't know if I'd call that "down the stretch."

Last year's March 14th game in Chicago wasn't televised but I found it on some obscure internet sight. You couldn't "full screen" the picture though so I was stuck looking at a 2" x 2" screen for 2 and a half hours. Better than nothing though.

I gave up man.

It's not worth fighting to try and see Jackets games in Cleveland anymore. Just going to watch on the net. I won't be able to make any videos for next year, but will save myself the aggravation of sitting on hold for a half hour for each game trying to figure out how to view the game I'm paying for.
  • Cleveland is too close to Columbus so all Jackets games are blacked out because I'm supposed to watch them on FSNO
  • FSNO shows the Cavs games instead of the Jackets.
  • It'd be much easier to become a fan of another team ANY other team, and just buy center ice.

WHY THE **** DOES FSN MAKE THIS SO ****ING HARD.

Until either the Cavs or the Jackets are on SportsTime Ohio I have no reason to buy cable.

Here is the funny part. After the long slow part of the summer I was excited to see the schedule announced as it means we are closer to the start of the season. I thought it would be fun to discuss which away games would be good to see. Maybe which nights might be fun to get together at the R-Bar. Instead, like much here recently people have used it to ***** and whine instead of look for positives. Yes you are all entitled to your opinion but so am I. Some people need to hit the antidepressants a little harder.

I have Wow cable, landline, and internet. I am happy with everything except for the fact, they quit carrying Center Ice a couple of years ago. My other cable option is Insight. So in order to get Center Ica and the NHL Network, I would have to get satellite.

I do watch the untelevised games on the net, by either hockeystreams and pay for the single game $3.99, or find a stream. One of these days I may break down and get satellite.

I lived in Ashland for a while, and trying to get games over there was a real pain. I would turn on the game after doing what I needed to that day, waiting all day--and probably a few days--to sit down with some buffalo wings and watch the CBJ. Much to my chagrin, oftentimes I would find an old episode centered around those two football players. So instead of watching a pre-game of the Blue Jackets, I was watching two arrogant football players attempt to cook and take orders at a Dairy Queen. This happened on a regular basis, even when there weren't calves games on, or something of that nature. Games were passed on in favor of re-runs, sport shows, really stupid reality shows that belong on some pop-culture station like MTV, but they are about football players or basketball players no one cares to watch doing ordinary mundane things--except for Ohioians, for some reason.

Then I moved to Columbus. After living with that for a long while, I could never complain about getting seventy-something games, after it had annoyed me so much getting 30-40. At least year I can listen to it on the radio as well. In Ashland I didn't even have that option unless I sat in front of my computer for a few hours.

Edit: I would like to see more games in HD, though.

I've never expected FSN to show all the games. Don't like it, but I'm quite happy they are showing 75 of them.

As far as people saying dump FSN, I'm cool with that. I hate Fox Sports. There aren't a lot of other options.

Some of the issues people are throwing at FSO are actually issues with the cable companies themselves.
