Honestly, I like the guy.

I've watched some stuff of him (i.e. interviews, mic'd up, etc...) and he seems like the poster boy for a good teammate and kind person in the lockeroom. It's good to see more personalities like this in the lockeroom. Hopefully, it'll stay like this once the season starts and the media hounds start coming in.

About the city i meant.. the media seems to ask everyone:

"How do you like playing for the Montreal Canadiens?"

to which they all say: "oh, you know the history of this club.. the city, the fans are amazing..blahblahblah"..

I just find the media to be annoying with these questions.. what do they expect the player to say?

Kessel said Toronto is the greatest hockey city.. certainly Kovalchuck said the same for Atlanta ()

The only one is Kovalev who plays for Ottawa but said he prefer Montreal lol

I've always been a fan of Mara. I hope he plays well for us this year and we award him an extension. Seems like a great guy to have in the dressing room and is a physical presence.

Same here, he played junior with the Sudbury Wolves. I got to watch a lot of his play back in the junior days. This guy was one of my favs. He was an offensive guy back in the day, not as much anymore but any team with Mara on it is a better team because of him. Looking forward to the season to see what he can do for us

It sounds so sweet before the season starts... we'll see what he says when the boo-birds start working their magic at the Bell Centre.

He's coming from a stint with the Rangers...the boo birds are much worse there. I think he'll be okay.
