Was it me, or did I hear some boo's from the crowd when the kid decided to do the bilingual version of the National Anthem?

What a freaking game! 1 - 1, already!

What happened with the Leaf player flying into Lalime? Was that deliberate or was he pushed?!

Looked to me like it was a sens player who went into Lalime. Not a leafs guy.

Wow Did Cole get excited over that Sens goal... I have never heard such a non excited goal call in such a "big" game.

I'm talking about the scrum before the Sens scored.

EDIT: I just saw the replay and you are correct. Bondra took a hard fall :/

Well we know it isn't the officials that called the Vancouver/Calgary game last night!

Some good hitting, seems like a pretty clean game so far.

Horrible attempted clear by the Sens just before the goal, looked like he tried to pass it out instead of just hammering it off the glass.

Agree, Pothier has to get it out the zone there. He held onto it a split second too long as well.

Exactly my thoughts - his bias is so clear. He was like "and they score...." and then remembered he had to at least TRY to be impartial and tried perking it up a bit.

Great 1st period, though. Great hitting. Gary Roberts, Tie Domi, Mike Fisher getting the best ones so far.

Good job evening it up by the officials on two terrible calls that happen every game a hundred times and yet are never called.

a stupid make up call by the Refs.

I'm glad we were given a Power play but that was stupid, I mean Refs miss high-sticks and call imaginary ones.

Yeah, I was a bit confused on that one. I understand that the refs will try to even things up but even Cole and Neale thought that was a "penalty for taking a hit".
