Radulov rights for S.Kostitsyn

this so works for both teams .

Habs get a loved russian superstar in quebec. (Radulov)

Nashville gets a 20/25 goal scorer.(Kostitsyn)

Patrick Rissmiller for S. Kostitsyn

NYR POV, if they get stuck with Kostitsyn, he's cheaper then Rissmiller in the minors. Ideally they try to work out a deal where he signs a contract overseas and they're free of both contracts.

Montreal POV, you get someone who will play in the minors and you can call up and won't be claimed on waivers.

HFBoards POV, one less Kostitsyn to hear about.

It's a Win, Win, Win situation.

No way Montreal does that.

Would Chicago have any interest in reuiniting Kostitsyn with Kane?

Would S. Kostistsyn for one of Brouwer or Burish be way off?

Kostitsyn Brothers, 2nd '11

LA

Stoll, Purcell

montreal gets size in the two players they would get from LA one of them being NHL ready who is a setup man. Purcell a 3rd line player with big size.

LA gets a. Kostitsyn who can get you 30 goals a season if played with the right combination and he could easily with the talent they have in LA. s.Kostitsyn brings them grit and speed play him on the 3rd line. LA gets a pick to keep bringing in youth for the future.

It states on thefourthperiod.com that Gainey told LaPresse of Montreal that he is going to try and do anything to accommodate a deal to move the winger.

Gainey agreed that Sergei's agent asked for the trade and Gainey said he has no problem to help make a deal if thats what he want's it also states that he also said he thought about the scenario that Andrei might want to leave with him.

Other articles elsewhere state Andrei wants to stay in Montreal.

Grabovski is an extremely hard working player, no attitude problems in Toronto.

I'm not convinced Nashville would go for that if Montreal added to the deal (although anyone who follows the team more closely than I do may feel free to correct me on that). People with attitudes like that, when they approach Nashville, seem to get shown a very large sign reading "YOUR KIND IS NOT WELCOME HERE."

Habs fans are so delusional about Kostitsyn's trade value right now it's comical. He's worth a mid-round pick, maybe a third at best, or a cap dump. Some of these trades are absurd.

I really don't think Chicago would go for that!!
Chicago has a work ethic on their team, and these players wouldn't fit in.
P.S. I'm not a hawk fan

Minnesota is dying for prospects and I know Chuck Fletcher must be getting ready for a rebuild. Montreal is dying for someone to get big and tough. Now without a doubt this will get ripped.

Minnesota gets Sergei Kostitsyn

Montreal gets ughh sigh......... here comes the anger Derek Boogard.

Minnesota finally gets a prospect for part of its rebuild while the smurfs get the destroyer of men

Habs fan and I agree. His trade value is in the toilet right now. 3rd round pick is at mos what we should expect, unless we package him somehow.

I think that montreal should trade with either LA or the Islanders.

Islanders would welcome the youth and experience, as would the kings.

Halak would be a deal mover I find. I think that if they dealt with Islanders they could get back Biron and a foward for Sergei and Halak. Or trade with the kings bring in a scoring foward for sergei and halak possibly brother involved and sign a backup goalie like Legace.
Doubt LA has any interest unless he wants to play in Manchester. LAs top nine is already set. I don't believe the rumor but stranger things have happened.

Boogard and Laraque on the same team would actually be something... well... funny.

Laraque asks. They say no. Boogard jumps there shortly thereafter.

I'd freaking love it.

In fact, I'd try to trade Laraque and separately try to get Boogard in Montreal. Gotta love this guy.
