Is the new locker room as awesome as it looks in pictures?

He isn't the first guy that comes to mind, but I don't see As as a big deal anyway.

An "A" hardly signifies who the leaders are on the team. It's given out of loyalty for him being a Canuck as long as he has.

Burrows is a great leader for this team, and he can continue being a leader without the "A", you just dont want him having to talk to the ref when the period before he got a roughing penalty.

Hilarious considering those above players (except Salo) were huge disappointments in last year's playoffs unlike the Sedins.

you mean how they disappear in game 1-5 against chicago? Kesler and Burrows were playing hurt, i dont think its much their fault. I bet they (the twins) wouldn't score more than 80 points this year after taking that contract from Gillis, i really hope i am wrong.

I like the choice, Henrik will be a long term on ice leader. We don't know the dynamics of the locker room but on ice we can see. Henrik is/will be the type of leader that Naslund was and that isn't a bad thing! aslong he isn't the sole leader wearing the 'C'

Bieksa and Burrows do appear to be leaders no matter what, though like what has already been said, they are not ideal to talk to the refs. Hank is the classy choice.

And I'm sure you don't fault the Sedins' performance in the Dallas and Anaheim series because they had a virus infection and lost 20 pounds right?

And you know the Sedins weren't also playing with injuries how?

Also in game 1-5 Henrik had 5 points and Daniel 3. Hardly disappearing.

I blame the Sedins more because they are supposed to be the go to guy in the chicago series while kesler and burrows are supposed to provide secondary scoring. The Sedins didnt contribute anything in game 1-5 and for that alone shouldnt be signed for that much already.

And of course i blame the Sedins against the ducks, they are once again the main scoring unit and much better standards are expected from them. If you remember Linden was also hurt in Game 7 against the Rangers, yet he scored two goals.

Another good decision by the Mike Gillis management. Burrows, Bieksa, etc have similar leadership styles as Ryan Kesler, Hank is similar as Ohlund and even Naslund, the quiet Swedish, lead by example type leader.

They should have given Hodgson the "A".

Not giving him the "A" might wreck his confidence, set back his progress, and re-aggravate his back injury.

Purely from a "any advantage counts" point of view. On a rush, I wonder if defenders will identify, Henrik Sedin's A and realizes he's more likely to pass.

I'd like them to straight up switch roles this season, Daniel the passer and Henrik the finisher.... or at least switch jerseys.

Ref - '' no it wasn't''

Jovo somewhat fits that description.

Yeah Jovo used to give it to the refs good. He'd be in their faces yelling and scaring them dearly.

Yeah, Jovo was a real winner like say, Yzerman or Sakic. What a bunch of *******.

Henrik: Lazy penalties when the team is down and there's five minutes left on the clock.

Daniel, you now know what is expected of you.

What a great decision.
Right because he's never ever complained about a refs decision.

I can't believe the over reaction by some as if they know the dressing room better than the coaching staff and players. You can bet this will be a very well respected decision in that room. I have no doubt about that.
