It sucks that guys can get claimed when they get sent down if they dont make the team.

Especially if the other team just plans to use them in there minor league system.

It would be different if they planned to use the guy at the NHL level but i doubt Bissonette will stick with Pheonix so ****** deal for him if not

Whoop!

I really hate Ryan Hollweg and I really like Bisonnette. So this works out wonderfully.

Um, not quite. If Phoenix tries to send him down, he has to clear waivers. The didn't claim him just to turn around and waive him again. The waived Hollweg yesterday, and claimed Bisonnette today. I'd guess they plan on making him their NHL enforcer. We have Francis Lessard in the AHL. We cut Aaron Downey from our NHL camp and cut Mitch Fritz from our AHL camp. We've been looking for an NHL enforcer, and haven't found one we've wanted, so far. I'm guessing Bisonnette is that guy.

Phoenix - either we'll beat you, or we'll beat on you.

He doesn't suck, he's a very good fighter. Sucks to see him go, but if he gets a legit shot then I'm happy for him. He's certainly earned it.

Who cares about fighting? Just because he was a Penguin doesn't mean you have to reach for something good to say about him.

Bizz is a really good fighter, a good team player, great attitude etc. I'm not sure about enforcer, though. I don't know that he intimidates or scares a lot of people. He is kind of tall and lanky, not really physically imposing like a Godard or Boogaard type. I guess just being willing to fight for your teammates is every bit as effective most of the time though and if somebody tries to take any runs/cheap shots at one of the Coyotes players then Bizz will kick the **** out of them whether the opponent is scared of him or not, it'll happen.

If theres one recent former Penguin you don't have to reach to say something good about it's him, and obviously many people, including Ray Shero, care about fighting. Otherwise, Eric Godard would be bagging groceries somewhere.

My question to you is how long ago did Biz steal your woman?

Even if you guys wanted him, PHX was ahead of you on the waiver wire chart.

Coyotes fans are going to love Bissonnette. Total team-first guy, and a solid character player.

He's a damn good middle to light-heavyweight fighter. Team-first guy will run through the boards for your team. He'll be missed, but with Rupp there was no room for him on the Pens.

We have been trying to acquire Bisonnette since last Novemeber. He is what we wanted, it was just a mtter of time.

I don't think he's an NHL standard player. But a lot of people seem to like him, so I don't know.
