Ilya Zubov wants out of Ottawa as well?

http://www.thefourthperiod.com/news/ott090930.html

http://toutsurlehockey.com/rumeurs-d...ansaction.html

Zubov is another play not happy being sent down to the AHL, also demanded a trade, except in the article he states that Murray said he is going to trade him.

This report also states just the same as Sergei Kostitsyn might look to overseas as an option.

These players demanding trades these days are really getting on my nerves.

Thanks a bunch Heatley.

As I understand it, Zubov wasn't happy last year, and had made comments about making the club or bolting. But I haven't kept up with him or the team and have no idea what's been holding him back.

Could Brian Lee, Ilya Zubov, Chris Kelly and san jose's 2nd rounder get a sniff at Dan Hamhuis?

Because Heatley was the first player to ask for a trade?

So how long before players realize its not their god given right to play in the NHL and in fact its an enormous privilege.

Im so sick and tired of whiny babies complaining about not making the NHL team or not wanting to play for the NHL team they are on.

Maybe if you worked harder and had a better camp than you would have made the team. Since you didnt then you deal with it.

I don't think he's asking for it, I think Ottawa is telling him that it might be better if they move him because he's pretty far down in the depth charts.

If he is asking for it, there's no question any team that acquires him is going to want to see him complete a full year in the AHL to make sure he doesn't hit that brick wall 3/4 of the way through the season again.

I wish him well. I hope he stays, but...you know...I'm happy that we finally have some depth. Good luck to him!

Lee has value like it or not, not even close to the same package sorry. Nice try though.

Oh, okay, I thought Hamhuis was a pending UFA. I didn't realize he had 5 years left at a nice cap hit like Michalek.

Really has nothing to do with management or Ottawa. The guy just seems to want a shot at the NHl, and there really doesn't seem to be much room on the roster for him...

One trade is overpayment for Hamhius. One's a pile of trash for Michalek.

Guess which one is which.

You took worse players and asked for a better one.

Could Blum (Lee), Joel Ward (Kelly), Zach Budish (Zubov) and a 2nd rounder get Volchenkov. Pretty damn close.

I don't blame Zubov at all. I dont think he was given a fair shot at making the team.

If he were born in Kanata and not Russia he would be on the opening night roster

I think Zubov deserves a chance to try it out somewhere else.

He knew very little English but still paid his dues in Binghamton.

For that, I'm not going to slag him now.

I've seen plenty of proposials suggesting kelly will be on line 3 but i will be thrilled if he is on the 4th line
