The only thing I don't like about the Pens losing tonight is that they might jump out a lot more motivated tomorrow.

I definitely have a similar feeling. The Penguins seem to be a regular season team that condescends to their competition. Hopefully Pronger and Timonen can shut down their offensive attack.

The thought crossed my mind as well. And the fact that they've been in the box more tonight than they usually are in a month...

The Pens looked like ass tonight. I don't expect the same effort tomorrow.

Exactly.

Very impressive game by Phoenix today. The Pens with no chance at all, really.

Coyotes play a great team game, have a good coach, a solid roster on paper (not spectacular, but not horrible either), and play a good system. They won't be a push-over this year. They'll still be a non-factor in the playoffs, but teams will have to actually try against them in the regular season this year.

Argghhhh- I have a class from 7:10-9:00 on Thursdays, and its a class that's kind of fun to pay attention in too- we watch movies on Thursdays (its American cinema- the original Public Enemy tomorrow).

Anyone watching the Habs vs. Canucks game?

That's what happens when you have a coach with a...what do you call it? System. That's it.

The Coyotes just handled the Pens tonight. They played like they had a team of 18 Upshalls, just constant skating, hitting, attacking. No interest in the play down the ice, just worried about what was 10 feet in front of them and really outworked Pittsburgh everywhere. If we played like that with our skill we would be entirely unbeatable.

Maybe Richards will hit Crosby in the face with a grapefruit.

Canucks up 7-1 with like 8 minutes to go. I haven't watched most of the game, but from what I can gather everyone on the Habs except Price is playing like ****. Price seems to have a gaping five-hole though.

Basically, Vancouver is exploding all over Montreal and Carey Price's respective faces.

I loved it. Even though Fluery didn't play, the offense looked horrible. Hopefully good news for tomorrow.
