They both suck, but the whole team is bad right now. I'd give Emery the edge though as far as talent .... and age .... and history .... and avatar-ability. (Just ask Opy when he doesnt lose bets)
I am not getting into Emery discussion..

My comments were about Boucher.

Why would ask Opy anything?

Glad to see Potulny doing so well.
The Oilers have been riddled with injuries this season, which has given him a chance to play with the club. To me, he still doesn't look like he belongs at the NHL level, but the Oilers are giving him every opportunity to find a niche. He's been given some powerplay time and he's been one of Edmonton's leading penalty killers in the last few games.

Corvo out for 12 weeks.

The Canes are going no where and don't stand a CHANCE of changing that anytime soon. Yikes.

More importantly this year for him, Corvo isn't going to the Olympics.

Also, Rod the Bod either stopped juicing, had his body finally break down because of it, or aged really ****ing fast in the past 18 months. He went from ppg player to 7 minute per game 4th liner quick.

And makes a lot of money doing it.

I hope this isn't the way he's going out, but it probably will be. He's got another year with the over 35 rule.

The guy was a PPG player at almost 38 years old. It was a matter of time before he started falling off the earth with the speed of the game. Like days later.

One thing about Carolina, all their marque talent other then Staal is MAD old, and they have been unable to bring in much youth. It has finally caught up with them. Carolina is not going to be a playoff team for a bit unless they find some good young forwards in the draft.

Whitney is old, Brindy is old and done, Cole is injury prone and has slowed, some of the key Stanley Cup winning guys have left, and Carolina has little in the way of goal scorers right now.

Oh, and their stud d-man is Pitkanen. ROFL!

yeah gotta feel for Mason, he was giving them every chance to win that shootout.

Anyone see Nash's 180 deke towards the end of the third? He almost scored on it too

Mason shouldn't have talked **** toward the end there. Seabrook ended the game on the very next play.

Has anyone toyed with the idea that Emery might be playing with an injury? It would totally make sense, given such a sudden decline in his numbers over the last 5 starts. Just a thought.

Or he just is having a small mental issue and let some goals in. He isnt Luongo good, he is hot and cold like most goalies.

No, but I am toying with the idea that Stevens is once again not capable of handling his goalies. Boucher is the backup...you can't pull your starter every time he struggles. He did this same crap with Biron and Nitty for two years.
