Very Lang-like, look like he cut something painful. I hope he's alright!!

We also have O'byrne that's been playing well and we'll have weber as our 7th dman if anything. It's times like these where I'm glad we have very good depth

There's one replay as soon as he gets off the ice where it looks like he's pointing to the toe of his skate.

I first thought he just broke a skate, but if elliots right and he was helped down the tunnel, I'm guessing he got a puck in the toe and it's broken.

Lower body, to be re-evaluated tomorrow.

That's the only update per CKAC.

At first, this doesn't seem that bad. I think if he went to the hospital they would say.

Considering Lang was on the ice wincing in pain, while Markov was at least able to skate off (and his facial expression didn't show too much, but then again, that's Markov for you), I'm led to believe it's not an Achilles problem.

May just be a cut along the leg, let's hope.

Carle is closer than Subban right now. Anyway, ah stated earlier, Gill will not sit if JM gives him 22min+/game.

My first thought was that he twisted it weird on Prices pad. We are ****ed if its serious. Gill and Mara on the pp? I don't think so.

Hammer's return will help either way.

Spacek is better on the left side too.

Meh, doesn't look THAT bad. Our PP would suffer for sure, but I don't think a couple of months without Markov would be the end of the world. We'd probably go .500.

Gill is there, so.

Space goat Mara
Hammer ob
gill gorges.

Space-Cammalleri

Hamrlik-Mara

Its not that terrible if Cammalleri is used on the point and Hamrlik comes back soon.

It seems clear it's a cut, but did it cut into a ligament or a muscle is the million dollar question...

I know there's a sense of panic but you guys forget that we don't have the same helpless defense we did last year. Gorges & O'Byrne have grown and we have Spacek, Mara, Gill & Hammer (if he's back by Saturday).

I know Gill looks a little wonky on the ice but he's going to make us forget about Komisarek. I know Komi could hit and stuff but the guy really helpless unless he's paired with a really good defenseman.

Remember, no more Brisebois, Cube, Dandenault etc...

If I compare Lang's reaction who severed his tendon to Markov's..its night and day.

I think Markov even finished the play and skated off on his own.

Can't wait to see the Price bashers blame him for Markov's injury.

I hope he's alright, tonight wasn't kind to me fantasy wise as he and Chara are my two top defensemen.

You're right on the money. Also, I have much more faith in Martin/Pearn running our defense and we also have Weber, Carle, Subban waiting in the wings.
